DAVID PHOENIX’s RUNTIME ERROR dives into the realm of corrupted data and fractured rhythms. Its pulsating bass and fragmented synths weave a cybernetic narrative of infiltration and control. Roma Knigi, like a magician of modular synthesizers, balances on the verge of chaos and order.  The dance techno improvisations that he plays on modulars deprive control of the body and mind.  Roma is a musician with Russian ancestry who has been “our man in Berlin” for the past seven years.  On record is the first performance of Knigi in Werk on January 31, 2020.
