Hell Yeah welcome back Berlin based Gallo @matteogallerani for another fresh new release after his previous Remember to Forget EP made such an impact, while his classic-in-the-making ‘Faron’ (remixed by Fabrizio Mammarella) was played by all the coolest Balearic cats, as well as being the last track of seasonal BALEARIC comp. New signing My Friend Dario also serves up a remix to make this another red hot offering.

Gallo is at the heart of the nu-balearic scene and has an expansive record collection and uplifting sound that makes for perfect horizontal listening. He is a member of the Balearic Gabba Sound System and with Hell Yeah boss Marco, and also helms the My Way radio show. For this new one he once again digs deep into ambient electronic escapes.

‘Sverna’ carries you away on a raft, right into the middle of the ocean with the warm sun beating down. The gentle drums lap against your feet as glistening little synths drift by like whispy clouds. On his remix, My Friend Dario layers in some long legged drums that bring you back to shire for a slow motion sunset boogie that is awash with feel good vibes.

‘Deshalb’ (Original Dub Sax Mix) is six hazy minutes of mellow synths and deep water bass that envelops your entire soul. The sax drifts by way up in the skies above and ensure you stay laying flat out on your back, gazing upwards and getting lost in the sonic landscapes.

Lastly, ‘Little Blue’ started as a remix for Verdo but has now become a brand new tune featuring that artist instead. It’s impossibly beachy and open air, with tumbling toms and soft synths building to an utterly seductive high. A beatless mix is also included for those who prefer it even more masterfully mellow.
