Back in 2012, we released Family Portrait; a four way split between Joanna Gruesome, Playlounge, Keel Her and Gum. The idea was to give four bands with a similar sound and ethic their first vinyl release. We decided it was time for round two and gathered together some of our favourite new bands.

This first track comes from Living Hour, a four piece from Winnipeg Canada. Steady Glazed Eyes is a a slow burning super 8 reel of psychedelic dream pop. All four bands will be on tour throughout April and May and we will be sharing more tracks soon!

Will we keep a fandom that harbors the downtrodden outcast of the status quo?/Will we commit to keeping the gap between producer and fan nonexistent/and maintain a fandom which includes difference/normalizes the fringe and embraces the outrageous?/Will we assert that we, as a fandom, are the only ones who have the right to set the course of our fandom and determine the culture of our people?/Or will we trade that in?/accept the medlings of outside companies/who want to capitalize on our accomplishments?/

To have undermine the artists and creators of the furry fandom/is such an egregious and downright vile offense to our respect/especially our livelihood/Will this fandom/the one truly independent and free flowing fandom maintain 100% control over its sovereignty?/And keep this fandom/of furries, by furries, for furries/has the opportunity to be meaningful actor within their fandom/

If we let them succeed in their goal in turning the furry fandom into a money making machine for them/bigger/stronger/more formidable/companies that come knocking/we must defend/build an infrastructure/organization/effectively let us/deliver our answer/in the most...loudest...way...possible.
