Inhaling obsidian in a gas chamber. Falling drowsy and fainting away. As the air is accumulating appropriately thick and fragrant, it electrifies.

@dianaazzuz is an interdisciplinary artist. Half Ukrainian, half Syrian, she lived in Syria, Libya, and is now based in Kyiv. She had her first self-released EP out in February, 2020. The in-depth analysis of the 20th century concept of photography via social and cultural prism at the university led her to a deeper interest in digital art. As a visual artist, she has collaborated with @rina-priduvalova on an audiovisual show which was featured on "@tightmixes is 2 Takeover". Their alliance started off with a video work ‘Hyperrial’ that was out in December, 2019. Now, she’s in the process of putting out an album and a visual piece in collaboration with Rina Priduvalova.

We are thrilled to welcome Diana Azzuz for our podcast serie, in the framework of our collaboration with Kyiv-based zine TIGHT. The proposed mixtape features some tracks from @m-e-s-h, @ang3l-139505149, Death Grips and other cutting-edge sounds.

Foreshadowing the audiovisual album ”Sui Noxa”, Standard Deviation releases the single ”Now And Then” by Diana Azzuz & Rina Priduvalova. Out now!

Sui Noxa (”one’s loss”, lat.) is the audiovisual collaboration of the Kyiv based, interdisciplinary artists and the second release on Standard Deviation, an ofspring of ∄, the new club project from Kyiv.

Within the video project, Sui Noxa brings a closer look on the common neglect of self-responsibility in the digital age, and the causes it upholds to those, who may try to abuse the freedom within an artificial reality. Eventually, it narrates a story on how actions in the digital world reflect back on our behavior in the real world - and holds up the black mirror right in front of our face.

Musician, founder and curator of the Kiiberborea art platform that was inspired by solarpunk ideas and brought together artists all over the world. There are four releases and 6 mixes in the platform catalog and also online concerts series which is held since 2019.
    
Year 2120. The world is experiencing the effects of climate change. Most of the land is flooded, and huge masses of survivors are concentrated in terrible metropolises where the population has become slaves of corporations that control resources. But there are rumors among people about secret settlements on the newly formed islands. 
    After a long search, you arrive at such an island. According to rumors, the local settlers live in harmony with nature and have high technology combined with unique culture. 
    Walking around the island you meet a man who is one of the settlers. He is glad to see you and agrees to lead. On the way, he says that his main interest is finding experimental music records from the past. He search it in private collections and in the abandoned server rooms around the world. Then he takes out device that looks like a speaker to show you fresh artifacts.
