We're excited to to announce our next release on Silva Electronics, this time coming from SE founder Michael Claus. Realm is a collection of four tracks that utilize a variety of analog and digital production techniques and demonstrate Claus' ability to create a cohesive style from a variety of sound sources. The title track Realm and Atmos Schematics, originally written in 2018, are entirely "in the box" and showcase an atmospheric sound that includes an acidic 303 synth line. Baümer and Surge were originally recorded to tape in a single take via an old Tascam Portastudio in 2017 and were produced and mixed earlier this year. Surge's driving percussion and drums are equally matched by Baümer's sludgy and drone-adjacent sound design. This release is fit for deep listeners and DJs alike.

Hour one is a pulsating and acid drenched techno mix by New York DJ, prodeucer and Sorry Records affiliate WTCHCRFT. Hour two is the opening 60 minutes of Gavilán Rayna Russom’s 4 hour set from last week’s Honcho Campout Messy Beaucoup stage, curated by Mozhghan Shariat and Josh Cheon, recorded live in the booth.

WTCHCRFT has the best part of a decade’s production under his belt, shifting genres and styles making him hard to pin down & define - but with the constant thread of techno throughout. Putting down roots in New York City a few years ago, he now runs with the Sorry Records crew, hosting a weekly ambient and classical show with label boss Nick Boyd on Newtown Radio in Brooklyn. WTCHCRFT came to a lot of people’s attention with a series of three acid-themed EPs released on Bandcamp during the pandemic. He made his vinyl debut on I Love Acid Records this June, with four tracks of 303 funk – fusing UK rave breakbeats and Drexciyan electro beats against tight acid lines & snappy vocal parts.

Easy Life avec NVST - 14 Octobre 2021

After first appearing on MRG010, Czech artist Exhausted Modern is back on Marguerite Records with a solo EP called “Deform | Reform”.
A side opens up with the dreamy electro-ish “Giving form to chaos”, followed by the high tension ambient-techno cut “The self unselving”; A3 is a trippy oddball slow-tempo jams called “Old disguises”.
B side unwraps with “De creatura” and “Riddles of creation”, respectively on B1 and B2: the Endless Illusion boss crafted two ambient cuts characterized by haunting soundscapes, weird voices cut ups and deep basslines.
The title track ”Deform _ Reform” closes the EP in a Sabres of Paradise-esque manner with a communion of dub and industrial rhythmics and patterns.

Working as a visual artist and writer, Rotterdam-based Puck Schot once felt the need to express a more masculine voice within her poetry. Curious towards electronic music, she started making experiments around 2019 as Acidic Male. In that same year she started collaborating with RJM Vanderheyden as 'Vot'ress' as well, combining harsh noise with nature sounds and Shakespearean texts. Since then, she has a high interest in industrial sounds, her Korg MS-20 mini, hypnotic drum patterns and experimental vocals. Having her performer name as a revenge title, she searches to “other” herself into the position of a manipulator, perpetrating the listener through the duality of softness and harshness within subtle violent sounds and poetry. Yet, typically what is left is merely a penetration of herself as the subject, exposing her confessions, memories and hauntologies. She is simply ripping in two - in front of an audience.
