Lost At Sea

This track is a bit obscure. It reflects a sadness typical of when one leaves his home to move to another country. Punta Umbria is a town ins southern Spain, though never been there. Umbria means shadow or shade in Latin, the darkness is what the song is about, with some Flamenco guitars reflecting that.

A longer than planned song, starts really sad, the piano at the beginning almost makes me cry. The song really is about having everything more or less going great and suddenly losing it all. The chorus is a 'happy memory' of what you had, though the fact remains that you have lost it all. Girlfriend/wife/kids after a separation, that kind of loss that makes you feel so alone.

Alone in the Rain

This is probably my preferred song out of the bunch. I would like to sing better so this is an instrumental version. I still get the emotion of the piano at the start and end, for some reason.
