Audio Social is elated to be featuring the selector and our good friend Mandai. She’s been a supporter and huge inspiration to the crew over the years! And we can’t think of a better person to celebrate and host for the one year mix series then this bass queen herself! This mix is packed with heaters ready to warm your pre rave or night out now that we can do so again! This mix is full of bassy goodness, including global, dancehall, grime, rap riddims ready to bun out dem’ speakers for a late summer boom turn up!

This bad gyal remains a staple in the west coast’s underground music scene as a consistently evolving local favorite. Mandai is a well-known member of Vancouver’s notorious Lighta! Crew, having acquired her inspiration from the bass scene of the early 2000s combined with Caribbean sound system music and culture that captured her soul. From digging through crates of vinyl to sourcing intimate and forward-pushing sounds, she stays true to her heart when creating a vibe. Her curations have expanded through the years and weave through genres that span continents. She is alumni to some of the best events such as Bass Coast, Shambhala, Diversity, The Field, LIB, Symbiosis’s Oregon Eclipse, and Vancouver’s infamous Ting!

@librarianmusic - Andrea Graham, better known by her stage name The Librarian, is a celebrated Canadian DJ, producer, and curator. She is the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Music Festival – known internationally for its innovative music programming and installation art – and is widely considered one of bass music's leading creative minds and tastemakers. Equally an artist and entrepreneur, Andrea’s reputation as an inclusive community-builder in the electronic world has brought her a legion of fans and industry followers across the globe.

@vibesquad OG Bass music legend VibeSquaD is celebrating 15 years of releases and shows. This year VibeSquaD contributed a new single to MUISIQUE V.1 compilation curated by Clozee for her label Odyzey Music. VibeSquaD is the work of Aaron Holstein who turned 50 this year. His newest project is called Backpact, a plush analog lo-fi blunted sunset cruise through your afterthoughts.
