"This mix I made for you guys is something I cannot afford to do that often, only if I am playing very long sets… 6-7-8 hour sets. This is deeper, droney techno, perhaps for the very first hours of a very long set. Every time I am asked to do a podcast, it’s really motivating for me as I try to do something different. 

This time the music I recorded for you guys is going deep. It’s more for a proper listen. Of course it’s techno, but it’s more of a deeper journey, not super physical or fast like I can play in peak-time parts of my set.

Oscar Mulero's DJ career has been as prolific and long-lasting as the evolution of dance music. As a key figure in its development, Oscar has always absorbed new trends and kept his finger on the pulse of electronic dance music, from the end of the '80s right up to the present day. It is impossible to understand his genius without taking into account the tireless work he has carried out behind the decks for three decades now. Production-wise he's been releasing records since the late '90s, with countless 12" vinyls and several studio albums, as well as many remixes for the best players in the scene.

Oscar runs Warm Up, his very own imprint, since 2000 as well as the label PoleGroup Records since 2004, both of which have reached the 50 releases mark. On 2013 he started a series of live A/V performances under several project names like Light and Dark, Biolive and Monochrome AV. Recent years also saw the explosion of Selección Natural, the project he founded alongside his PoleGroup colleagues Exium and Reeko, as well as touring far and wide, reaching every corner of the globe from Los Angeles for WORK presents to the depth of South America, from every significant techno city in Europe to far-flung Japan, all cementing his status as one of the most respected and sought-after techno pioneers of the last two decades.

The STERAC discography consists of classic tracks on labels such as M-Plant and Tresor, with the 2012 remixes of his legendary album Secret Life Of Machines (1995) demonstrating the lasting quality of his tracks. 

These days, STERAC releases appear on labels as Klockworks, Aftrelife, Mote Evolver, Indigo Aera and Delsin, while his schedule takes him to every corner of the World. On top of that, he continues being one of the most saught-after remixers around.

Gaetano Parisio, is one of the most consistent artists in techno, releasing records since the 90s that remain staples in every respectable DJ’s record box. Co-creator of the Neapolitan Techno School, he is now prepared to present a GAETEK LIVE and ORIGENS.
Starting as Gaetek, Gaetano (from Napoli, Italy) released a flurry of classics on labels like Planet Rhythm and Primate Recordings, records that were immediately elevated into regular rotation by icons like Dave Clarke, Sven Vath and even Jeff Mills himself.
He soon launched his first label, CONFORM, which quickly became a beacon for the Napolitano techno scene for which Parisio and Marco Carola were now torchbearers.
They became fixtures at the world’s best clubs and festivals with a four-turntable/two-mixer set-up that left crowds screaming for more while their studio work together lead them to befriended like-minded artists like Adam Beyer, Ben Sims, and The Advent, all of whom released music on Conform. During the same time, Gaetano brought the techno scene together on a charity compilation, Techcommunity 4 Kosovo, to aid the children of war-torn Kosovo—a rare and shocking flare-up of violence within the relatively peaceful boundaries of modern Europe.
If Conform was about community, Gaetano’s next label, ART (Advanced Techno Research), was a one-man affair that issued a series of nine limited-edition, precision-crafted, two-track singles, over the span of two years. He continued the conceptual approach to production with the book-inspired Chapter series, released on his new SOUTHSOUL label, which introduced a deep house-flavored techno sound that was eagerly endorsed by DJs of all stripes. Next came the five-part ADAGIO series of minimal tracks (on the label of the same name), which continued Gaetano’s evolution as a producer at the same time techno was reinventing itself for the new Millennium.
In 2007, Gaetano took a step away from the frenetic life of an international DJ. During that time, he continued recording hundreds of tracks for the pleasure of the music intelligentsia, only. In 2017, he moved to Barcelona, Spain and set-up a new studio where he produced brand new music with several collaborators that will be revealed shortly. He also republished the back catalogs of his labels (this time in digital format, too), setting the stage for the new GAETEK LIVE and ORIGENS (a three turntables dj set just as he used to play in the beginning of his career) intended to introduce his 25-year-plus music career to techno’s next generation.
