This is one of my first experiments with the amazing Famitracker, a sound tracker made for creating NES/Famicom music.
Very useful and funny to create Videogames music but also for reinterpret every genre of music.

I've been loving Queen since my childhood, and I totally go crazy for Brian May's overlapping guitar style. "Procession" is one of the most amazing album intros ever. So this is my "chiptune tribute" to one of the greatest bands in the multiverse.

I like this song solely because it is in an odd time signature; 10/8 is pretty strange but it does sound hella good.

Despite this being able to run on almost any YM2413, I made this using the Famicom's VRC7 chip, which is a trimmed-down YM2413, which itself is a cost-reduced YM3812. Crazy, huh.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this! Shoutouts to @YobaHere for helping with some chords.

Combining forces, Audiofly and Patrice Bäumel draw on unique inspirations from the desert to deliver the monumental Atacama on Crosstown Rebels. Having focused solely on his own productions in the past, label boss Damian Lazarus steps away for the first time to complete this exceptional release with a profound re-shape.

The hypnotic Atacama intricately builds with a certain intensity that never drops, stimulating the senses and transporting the mind as deep, grumbling pads drift in and out of play. Damian Lazarus remembers “the first moment I heard this track I knew there was something very special about it, not only did it strike me as a killer club record but I also felt the textures completely appropriate to my own experiences in the Atacama desert.” On the flip, Damian changes gear as a deep, chugging beat leads the way through an impressive re-shape of the original.

Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito aka Audiofly have established a creative empire, which includes two record labels and their Flying Circus global party brand. They met Patrice during a US tour and immediately hit it off. “It wasn't long after that we decided to invite him to Barcelona for a session that proved to be nothing short of Inspirational.”

Internationally renowned DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel has had a busy start to 2017 with a release on Tale Of Us’ Afterlife imprint, plus remixes for Sasha & Policia and Depeche Mode amongst others. He truthfully said of the this release, “it's a labour of love that came together within a few hours of jamming in the studio, unlike many 'collabs' this one really felt like we all equally contributed to the end result.“

@nodebarcelona Recordings returns with its second release titled "Morphic Fields Vol.I" which consist of 4 tracks from a selection of quality techno artists: Aleja Sanchez, Hoedus, Livai and Dario Duegra.

NODE, an organization active since 2017, a project founded by Dario Duegra, Daniel García (Dhanimal) and Enrique del Peral.

Starting off with daytime events on the weekend, and inviting an intriguing array of artists to play as special guests, the founders succeeded in creating the affinity and synchrony they were trying to achieve, both on stage and on the dance floor.

In 2018, NODE jumped headlong into the dark of night, holding events in venues of reference such as, Razzmatazz and M7. After receiving positive feedback, 2019 became a year of consolidation and growth which took NODE to The Garage of the Bass Valley, where they set up residence, putting on periodic events with unusual line-ups and showcases.

In 2020, after three years of work, they are ready for NODE's new leap: the creation of record label, NODE Recordings, which represents and transmits the sound of that quality techno they always look for in their events and sets.

For the second exhibition we wanted to merge a work by Jacques-Louis David with 3 tracks by the talented producer Zemög plus a brilliant remix by the master Claudio PRC.

La Morte di Socrate is an oil painting on canvas by the French painter Jacques-Louis David, made in 1787 and kept at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
