This EP by Matt Altman was inspired by the infamous Japanese found footage horror movie (Koji Shiraishi) and sets an uneasy rhythm with a keening but grooved out first track "November 12, 2002".
  
Without pause "Junko's Possession" starts steady but the eeriness returns with haunting drones peering through the mist of a relentless synth line and crisp beats.

Altman takes care to maintain his timbral thread with "Kana's Vessel" which shifts into a breathless pace bearing a hypnotic melody.  This swirling pace continues through "Kobayashi's Search For The Truth" as percussion hits the listener from all angles. 

The mystery deepens with "Shimokage's Curse" which is peppered with hi-hats and infected with a bleep that begins sweetly but swerves into a more sinister attack with "The Curse That Ends In Flames".

It all ends with "The Wrath Of Kagutaba", here muffled rhythmic shrieks counterpoint a subdued beep line that twists and devolves into harmonic rage and back, never offering the listener solace.

Distilling a range of dancefloor moods into purist techno trips, long-time innovator Jeroen Search teams up with newer talent PUSHMANN for a Dutch-Spanish collaboration which transcends the sum of its parts.

 The four-tracks on “Awareness,” the second release from Berlin-based Sinxergy, are laser-focused for the dancefloor, continuing the sci-fi sound the label began exploring in 2021.  Jeroen Search and PUSHMANN combine their vast experience in the booth with individual sonic stamps to create four tracks of driving, tripped-out techno.

From the reduced atmospherics of “Basic” through to the jacking power of “Code,” this debut collaboration covers all the ground needed to stay long in DJ’s record bags.

Premiere: Jeroen Search & Pushmann "Frame" - Sinxergy

Half a year after the Dutch DJ/producer’s debut release on his new Maximalist_Minimalist imprint, SAMA makes his return with MXMN002. Cementing the venture into his new, gritty sound, the release sees his pitch-perfect production moulded into another set of four hard-hitting, club-ready techno tracks.

Leading the release, ‘End All’ combines gritty shakers, hard kicks, and synth stabs for an eerie, atmospheric lead track. ‘Kill The Heat’ follows with dark arpeggiators over modulating rhythms and robust drums. On the flip, ‘Forced To Revolt’ kicks off the B-side with an intense vibe, placing the focus on evolving and interweaving synthesis, before ‘Tripping Over Wires’ closes the release with its groovy percussion and trippy melodic sensibilities.

A compilation of unreleased tracks, mixed and compiled by a member of the PoleGroup platform.

To make up the 6th volume, Lewis Fautzi, has selected 22 previously unreleased tracks. Besides tracks by Reeko, Exium and Oscar Mulero, the tracklist includes works from PRIS, Svreca, Shifted, Adriana Lopez, Bas Mooy, Alien Rain, Eric Fetcher, Nørbak and Lewis himself.
With this sixt volume, PoleGroup invites you to discover a powerful selection of unreleased tracks from high-quality techno producers, all mixed by Lewis Fautzi in an 76 minutes long compilation.

The CD, limited to 250 copies, will be released in a digipack and will be available towards Triplevision and the PoleGroup bandcamp page.
