Prolific Italian producer Kaiser makes his long awaited debut on Soma with a perfectly executed 4 track EP, The Way Back. Having been present on the scene through releases with Planet Rhythm, Animal Farm and more recently his own K S R imprint, Kaiser's style is a mixture of abrasive, hypnotic Techno blended with element of minimalism, glued together with a solid amount of groove. 

Title track The Way Back reminisces to Birmingham-era UK Techno with it’s thundering rhythms and twisted synth hook. Tales Of The Future takes things on a more futuristic tip as spacial polyrhythms build the structure of this very functional track. Ramping up the pace a little more, Loud Cries builds incessantly as impulsive percussion drives this perfectly crafted tool. Clubbed to Death finishes off this Soma debut EP from Kaiser with a speedy broken beat as atonal pads and drones create a densely packed, atmospheric and climactic track.

"Humanity” is the second album of Warsaw-based producer Michał Jabłoński. This is also his debut for @zoharum and his first collaboration with vocalist – Hania "D I D” Piosik whose voice appears in two tracks.

Jabłoński has been writing "Humanity” during the spring and summer of 2020 while in lockdown, which he spent in the countryside. 

Widespread anxiety, a sense of impending doom and deep inspiration of post-apocalyptic motives have pushed him to create an album that’s a mixture of ambient, experimental and film music fueled by strong percussive rhythms drowned in dense atmosphere giving us a battle-filled yet nostalgic feeling that perfectly captures this difficult moment in the history of mankind. 

This is a non-obvious journey into the depths of the universe seen through Jabłoński's eyes, in which not all cards are revealed until the last seconds.

The album is available in digital format and limited CD edition of 400 copies. The CD edition is available via presale at Alchembria.pl (Zoharum Webstore) and on the Zoharum Bandcamp page: www.zoharum.bandcamp.com

The 44th vinyl from Hidden Recordings courtesy of JC Laurent with an additional remix by Mike Parker. Deep, hypnotic techno centered around being powerful and effective DJ tools.

Hidden continues its thorough exploration into the deep and hypnotic realm of techno with an avant-garde and dance-floor ready release by mainstay JC Laurent, titled Through Differences. Included is an instantly recognizable remix by spatial sound virtuoso, Mike Parker.

Side A begins with "Through Differences" and its rich, organic textures levitating around clever drum work, building tension then releasing with timely percussion. Featuring Mike Parker’s meticulously honed vision of techno, he’s carves out a brutal remix matching his vintage ritualistic sound locked into its own space and frequency.

Side B begins with "Backwards" and its raw drums aggressively paving the way for an edgy, stripped-down and intense vibe. "Navigates Time" and Space locks you in immediately with a groovy baseline and rolling snares for a special after-hours feeling.

"Silence as Weapon" has a distinct off-kilter sensibility with rollicking drums and jabbing percussion.
