Spirit animal of the Spider is the opportunist. We all play the the spider at some point in our lives, and we also play the fly caught in the web... What are you currently?

I put him on that throne,

I crowned that spider a king

Took a while to notice the web
softly spinning around me, hugs, ha!
I shrugged it off to nature

Let him crawl under my skin
and over the face of Dali
And now, for just what I didn’t want to see,
I take responsibility

One day, I was paralyzed 
yet, still loved that motherfucking creep
Kindred spirits rescued me and said
He only loves the dinner he tries to keep-

devouring, but he was so slow to show,
(but then), predictable and surface-level boring
(as the Devil is) I get what I deserve though
for drinking that poison, he was pouring

He quite enjoyed the thrill of my empathy-
A lost man-boy at the fair, who begs for a ticket
Or some kinda lazy spider, always hitching a ride-
I just didn’t want to notice the other legs
