Semodi’s second appearance on Heimlich Musik marks the 33rd EP of the label containing with one original mix and remix contributions by Niko Schwind and Bizzarro Universe.

The original mix is a bassline-focused composition featuring mesmerizing vocals by La Grandiosa. Establishing a hypnotic vibe along the journey, Ritual comes with an ecstatic break combining a dominant lead line before coming back to the well-balanced combination of organic percussions and versatile synthesizers. 

Hamburg-based duo Bizzarro Universe turn up the speed to transform the original mix into one of their signature bangers made of aggressive old-school drums and a distinctive Italo Disco vibe. Keeping up the hypnotic approach of the original, Bizzarro Universe stick to the vocal line to create a powerful remix created to make the dance floor go crazy big time.

Going in a different direction, Niko Schwind interpretation injects an extra layer seamlessly blending his unique style with Semodi’s original energy finishing up the EP as a whole with a calmed-down remix perfectly fitted for sunsets.

His helmet gleams, a fragile glassy dome,

A dapper figure, the moon’s ghostly thrill.

When Richard Over left The Phantom Four, he was replaced by Graham Cooper and the band became Strange Brew, a mostly covers band. While it is not been fully verified, it is rumored that the band recorded at least two tracks, which would later appear on compilations.
