It is a great honor to present to you our next guest, he is a dj/producer from Berlin. An extremely talented musician with influences across the board but specializing in deep hypnotic techno. With several releases under his name we are honored that he is also the inaugural artist for us as we venture towards evolving to a label.

Warm melancholia and heady sonics from Iris - the Montreal-based DJ, fellow @n10.as host, and mind behind the queer-focused @underground-love-affair party and mix series (with a few shared contributors!). Their usual playing styles foreground an insatiable appetite for musics guided by emotion — “cyberjazz, aquabreaks, bubblestep, windmill techno, critter-hop, and punk house”. Intentionally created for the last months of summer, his mix runs the gamut through lush ambient, shoegaze, dubbed out leftfield reggaeton and glistening polyrhythms

Our next guest is a talented producer and dj hailing from Portugal, his productions have been featured on @aurora-mistica-records, @linee-sonore, and soon to be our 3rd release coming in 2026. His style dances between subtle hypnotic techno, subversive dub, while replicating elements of techy progressions, he definitely checks the boxes of a well crafted artist thriving in his element.

Under the full moon’s silver gaze, a tribe gathers to awaken the ancient pulse. As their ritual unfolds a portal opens, spiraling into hypnotic rhythm and luminous trance. Guided by Avsluta, the dance deepens, sound shapes presence and time dissolves into iridescent echoes.

Avsluta is a London-based sound artist, DJ, live performer, and event curator navigating the liminal spaces between ambient and dance music. As a DJ and producer, her work navigates both listening and dance realms, fluidly moving in between chill-out rooms, clubs and festival dancefloors. Tuning into the energy of the people and spaces, her performances are fuelled by dialog, intuition and improvisation, drawing on influences across deep techno, psychedelic bass music, dub, downtempo and a broad spectrum of ambient music. Avsluta is a resident of Above Below festival and made appearances at the likes of La Nature, O.Z.O.R.A., Mostra, Lunchmeat Festival, Waking Life, Ankali and Cafe OTO among other. She is also the founder of Introspective Electronics, an ambient and downtempo platform that hosts regular radio shows, guest podcast series, and intimate listening events.

Avsluta's mix for this edition is a tribute to tribalistic rhythms that unfold a hypnotic appeal of immense, ritualistic power. Combined with massive, moving basslines and trippy, headstrong toppings, this piece is a very special sonic treat that will draw you deep into the cosmic vortex.

Laszlo Deak aka Faktor X has been a musical colleague for over two decades. We met Laszlo a long time ago in Subotica, Serbia (the city's calling code is 024, what a coincidence hehe) where nexus' creative origins derive from. He is currently busy playing in various important underground venues in Budapest, Hungary and beyond.

Having a vinyl release on Steve Bug’s Audiomatique record label (alongside Trentemoller, Wighnomy Brothers, Umek, Alexi Delano, Jonh Dahlback, …just to name a few) and the same track included on a mix CD compilation mixed by Martinez (owner of Out Of Orbit records). He was being asked to do a remix for Yoko K (the keyboardist of the solo group of Rob Garza - half of Thievery Corporation), which is out on Drastic records. He also appeared on Belgrade Coffee Shop 6, a cd compilation of the finest underground club tunes from Serbia.
And lets not forget his two track solo appearance on Stupendous records, which gathered him more new fans. up next was an EP on Alex Flatners New League label.

New releases followed on Monoïd, Baroque Records and many local and niche labels with the latest releases being a remix for Alpha Tracks followed by a remix for Gearmaster (ex Abdul Raeva) on Gestalt records tape sublabel Hidden Assets. And this year a solo relase on the legendary Hooj Choons label.

Mainly being recognised for his studio productions he is also DJ-ing, played at many venues, clubs and also at festivals, including Alkotótábor, Techlake, Ozora, Inota, Daad, Exit festival, Sziget festival. He’s active in the electronic dance music scene for more than a decade (two actually), having organised parties and hosting weekly radio shows his main focus these days are production and the occasional DJ-ing where he can try out new and unreleased material of his own.

I have not been able to recover access to my other account [https://soundcloud.com/ha-kekong] for a couple of years.  I have tried a few times to get back into it but SoundCloud doesn't trust me.  Same phone number, same email addresses, and they still claim that they can't verify my identity.  I created that account about three years ago as a substitute to my regular account which SoundCloud temporarily closed.  They closed it as part of some upgrade procedure in their system, the result of a bug that affected many accounts, about two years ago.  Since SC did not inform its users I didn't know if that was permanent or not, so I created that other account which I can't access.  Don't be mad if I have not replied to your message in the past two years, that's because I never got them ; ) ... You can always reach me here though.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
