Golden Light

Old song I wrote about the first and only time I talked to my dad on the phone.  It was tense and weird and resentments were running wild.  And nothing was really resolved except I guess a certain degree of acceptance maybe even forgiveness .   Realizing that anyone is capable of bad behavior like abandonment given their current mindset and level of maturity.

Father's Day

The Fall of Saigon asked to add a vocal to our tune and we welcomed him to do so. The original wasn’t written with vocals in mind so we figured it was going to be a tricky thing to do. The Fall of Saigon worked his descriptive lyrics in very well, capturing the spirit of being calm and optimistic in a hurricane.
