Just south of town, ‘bout a mile down the road, there’s a little dirt road to the right.
Take it till you get to a little red house with a picket fence that’s mostly white.
Take a hard, hard right, then turn back to the left, then go about another mile
There at the bottom of the hill, you’ll see it, it’s guaranteed to raise a smile.

The first thing you see when you walk in the room is a picture of a pig with a beret on.
But don’t get too attached, ‘cause he’s the main course; working your appetite.
Hush puppies light enough to float in the air, slaw that gets right to the point.
Peach cobbler if you’ve got any room left at Boston Billy’s BBQ joint.

When you walk into the room you’ll see somebody you know,
If you don’t, well, you will before long.
There’s a band with a fiddle and a 5-string banjo playing your favorite song.
At the bar, that’s Babs, she will start you a tab; she’s got beer and liquor and wine.
And if you don’t look suspicious, you might get your fondest wishes
When she brings out a bottle of ‘shine.
