Last weekend we had our Full Moon in the sign of Capricorn, for the second time.

This second Full Moon in Capricorn brings a powerful energy to find structure and balance in your life. The combined influences of Pluto, Uranis, Mars and Neptune can lead to significant changes and insights. 

This period offers an opportunity to break old patterns and discover new creative possibilities.

You may be focused on your career, but at the same time experience tension in finding a balance between work on the other hand and family and relationships on the other. An inner struggle may arise between feelings an reason, because you feel that changes are necessary and sticking to the old is no longer possible.

Originally hailing from Upstate NY, DeepCutta began his foray into DJ culture as a vinyl drum ‘n’ bass connoisseur back in 1997. His love for collecting vinyl quickly gave way to spinning vinyl and immediately revealed an innate talent for mixing and selecting records. Since those early days of spinning dnb, Cutta’s sound has evolved and aligned with the dark, percussive techno-house sound often heard deep within the afterhours. It was long, blissful nights and mornings spent dancing in famed NYC clubs such as Exit, Crobar, Sound Factory and Pacha that set the stage for DeepCutta’s metamorphoses into techno from jungle/drum ‘n’ bass. The NYC underground house & techno scene has continued to be a major component in DeepCutta’s sound signature and is the driving force behind his #NOSOFTBEATS trademark sound. #NOSOFTBEATS can be described as the musical intersection between dark, crunching techno beats and tribal percussion, juxtaposed with urban and soulful house sensibilities. DeepCutta is not afraid to take it deep, mechanical and atmospheric, yet twist it with funky/soulful or sexy/seductive vocals and textures. To achieve this end, unique use of custom made song edits have been the hallmark of DeepCutta’s infectious and methodically programmed sets. DeepCutta has showcased his #NOSOFTBEATS philosophy at various nightclubs and residencies in his current city, Washington, DC, sharing the decks with international music talents such as Boris, Oscar G, Guy Gerber and Victor Calderone. DeepCutta is also the founder of DC’s largest underground techno boat party aptly dubbed “TechnOceans” which has been running for four years strong. “An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
