She is focused on deep techno with dreamy and organic touch.

Andrea Zapata is a young producer and deejay from Peru. Her talent crafting deeper and hypnotic techno sounds, with extraordinary elegance, is leading her to play music in some of the best venues in Lima. 
She has recently released her first EP under Martyn Päsch label KVLTÖ Records. 

Needless to say, we are honored and excited to share with you this beautiful dj set. For just 60 mins., Andrea allows us to get on her “hypnospaceship” and takes us through natural landscapes from unknown planets where green jungles, crystal-clear rivers and dark meteorite fields seem to co-exist in perfect harmony.

With every Full Moon or solar eclips I will present a new artist which I highly admire, respect and who empowers and understands the dark, ambient and emotional side of techno.⁠ ⁠

Last weekend we had our Full Moon in the sign of Capricorn, for the second time.

This second Full Moon in Capricorn brings a powerful energy to find structure and balance in your life. The combined influences of Pluto, Uranis, Mars and Neptune can lead to significant changes and insights. 

This period offers an opportunity to break old patterns and discover new creative possibilities.

You may be focused on your career, but at the same time experience tension in finding a balance between work on the other hand and family and relationships on the other. An inner struggle may arise between feelings an reason, because you feel that changes are necessary and sticking to the old is no longer possible.

“An unseen balance between light and darkness”

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.

Equipped with a rumbling, driving, and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began...

After he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer’s education, as a first step to pursuing his dream, he quickly released EP's and remixes on melodic techno labels such as SMR Underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, and Papaya music.

After releasing and performing on various stages, and through the process of producing and self-awareness, he felt the melodic techno genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on
underground hypnotic, atmospheric and ambient techno, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance. This resulted in releases on some of the biggest labels in the hypnotic scene like DORIAN, The Gods Planet, BAHN, Khoros, Informa, Space Textures, Arcadia,... with many more on the way.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’ (2020-2023), he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element.

For over 130 episodes spreading over 3 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing daily.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Andhera’, which translates to ‘darkness’ in Sanskrit. With every Full Moon or Solar Eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

An artist, hand-picked by himself, whom he highly admires, respects and who empowers and understands techno’s dark, ambient and emotional side.⁠

His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly, yet delicate, carved out balance between light and darkness, melancholic and emotionally charged. Cinematic sounds, rich and full of atmospheres, super evocative soundscapes with an inexplicable soul that can only be grasped when fully immersed into it.
