Having released the highly acclaimed Rivers/Tokyo ASMR on Crosstown Rebels last year, Berlin’s Emanuel Satie returns to the label this March with the powerful Personal Liberation EP, showcasing the deep and emotive characteristics that Emanuel brings to his accomplished productions. Tribal-esque percussion leads the way in title track "Personal Liberation", progressing with haunting synths, dramatic keys and a hypnotising vocal. A track that subtly builds throughout, "Keys to Jupiter" is a moody yet blissful cut of electronic excellence, enhanced with divine piano keys. Following their launch in April with the 'Here To Stay EP', the newly formed collective, record label and event series, Scenarios, returns with their second release. Founded by Emmanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and Yulia Niko, the label's second release, Starlight EP, is courtesy of Maga, Sean Doron and Yulia Niko.

Born in France and now based in Portugal, Maga’s discography boasts releases on some of dance music's most widely recognised labels, including Flying Circus and Get Physical. Israel’s Sean Doron has found a welcome home on Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion imprint over the years, whilst his Monochrome event series continues to go from strength to strength. Berlin-based Yulia Niko has become a world-renowned artist in recent times, securing a residency at Watergate and producing acclaimed releases for Watergate Records, MOOD, Crosstown Rebels and many more besides.

This remix breathes new life into the original song, which is a featured track from Meier's album "Come Join the Circle, Lesson Songs for Peacemaking."

Originally published in 2002, "Come Join the Circle, Lesson Songs for Peacemaking" has enjoyed tremendous success, with over 10,000 copies sold to date. Its mission is to inspire and educate children about non-violent conflict resolution and emotional intelligence.

Aera's remix of "Come Join The Circle" introduces a fresh and contemporary twist to Meier's timeless song, the chorus melody of which is actually from the classic African American spiritual „Wade In The Water“. Retaining the essence and message of the original composition, Aera seamlessly merges his innovative production techniques with Meier's heartfelt lyrics, creating an infectious dance floor moment.

The remix, initially released as a bootleg on Bandcamp with all proceeds donated to "Musicians Without Borders," has garnered immense support. Upon discovering the remix, Paulette reached out to Aera, initiating a fruitful collaboration that finally led to an official release of the remix.

"I am honored to collaborate with Paulette Meier on this remix of 'Join Us In The Circle'," says Aera. "I believe in the power of music as a universal language and a catalyst for positive change. He incorporates elements of soul and funk, infusing warmth and emotion into an unpolished sound universe that creates a unique sonic texture based on minimalism and space. Birds of Mind tease upcoming Body Language compilation with new single 'Don't Leave Me Here'.

Paris-based duo Birds of Mind, aka Alex H. and Adrian C, are Get Physical Music mainstays who were last on the label with superb singles 'Mi Pena' and 'No Time For Tears' back in 2022. In late 2021, they also served up a superb full-length album on Kindisch and are never far from the upper ends of the Beatport Organic House chart, such is the charm of their music. They bring great spirituality, deep drums and captivating moods each and every time and will showcase that on their entry into the esteemed Body Language series.

But first comes this super single 'Don't Leave Me Here' which pairs bouncing rubbery kicks with a melodic bassline that rides up and down the scale. Soft shakers and wispy pads add lush late-night feelings while the tender piano chords that slowly unfold bring inescapably powerful emotions. Add in some angelic wordless coos and seductively whispered words and you have a spine-tinging new cut from this cultured pair.
