AETHER LIVE

On the 6th of November, I had the pleasure, after more than two years, to play the terrace of the fabulous Space club in Miami again. I feel playing at Space, especially into the early morning hours requires a little different type of setlist, and even more so when the sun starts to come up. So I specially prepared a "terrace" set and included some of my all-time faves in combination with new great things. Hiroko Yamamura opened with a beautifully flowing selection and set the mood for the whole night and morning. I started at 4am and ended up playing for 5h which was so much fun, especially dropping some of my all-time classics again, something I didn't do for a while. Well you can listen to the whole thing now and make your own verdict. Hope you enjoy. Oh and by the way, some news you deserve to know as you have been reading so far :). Since I restarted my CLR label this year, I decided that I will bring back the CLR Podcast once a month with a special DJ set by the artists who release on the label. It will be under the roof of AMFM, so you don't need to do anything, but stay tuned and you will automatically hear the "AMFM CLR Special Podcast Edition" right here at the same spot. This week´s AMFM is the third hour of a 7 h set that I played in a very special location. The club is called Distillery and is in Leipzig Germany. It is the longest running club that I have played at in my DJ career. My first gig there was part of the Harthouse 100 Tour in September 1996. The club has an upstairs floor and a downstairs basement floor. The basement is the smaller of both floors and that was the one I got to play in 1996. Since the club now goes into its final year, I wanted to once more play in the basement, so I did an all night long set on May 25th 2022. I started at midnight and ended shortly after 7 in the morning, playing quite a few classics as well. Sadly, due to a technical issue, I didn't manage to save a tracklist, so I appreciate any help that I can get with that in the comments from all of you! (Well I know what I played, it is just quite a lot of work to reconstruct that...) I hope you enjoy this whole set, it was very special to me and quite emotional at times, as I had loads of great memories popping up during my time down there, from all the amazing times that I got to have in this fantastic venue over the years. A big thanks goes out to the whole crew of the club, especially to Steffen, who has been running this place passionately since the beginning and is currently preparing the move into a new location by January 2023. Once more this is a reminder, how important the club scene is for our music and that we all should always support our local clubs. In the end they are the foundation for the music, for the resident DJs and for the crowd that enjoys a good time together. We would be nowhere without those kind of clubs run by passionate people for so many years. Long live Distillery Leipzig!

Seven hours recorded from the all night b2b between Christoffer aka C.K and myself. There isn't a lot of recordings from marathon sets up online, so thought this would be a nice one to share for those of you who like a long uninterrupted ride.

C.K and I are both from Denmark, and our friendship goes a long way back. We worked together on a vinyl only podcast in the late 00's on blogspot.com for those of you who remember those times digging through blogs and Myspace. Since then C.K has been producing amazing records and doing fantastic mixes on his Safe Radio series (highly recommended!) as well as help the local scene with a wonderful voluntary-run venue 'Super' in the city of Aarhus in Denmark.

It has been a long enjoyable ride to run my label Delaphine for 10 years, a ride of surprises, and this night was a such a ride as well. A fun back-to-back ping pong of followups, layups, and curve balls. We hope you enjoy the ride.

Thanks to the always amazing Aether Club team that consistently throughout the years have provided such an amazing space for electronic music in the heart of Budapest.

Moments oF Aether Club series kicks off this series with KATAMII and her set, which she played after Efdemin at AETHER Club in October 2023. If you've been to O.Z.O.R.A. Festival, you've probably heard Katamii playing. Her sets are elemental parts of the Pumpui stage, meanwhile she's one of the musical leaders and managers of the stage. Everything started in 2011 at O.Z.O.R.A. She played there in front of a major audience for the first time. In 2019 she become the resident DJ in Budapest one of most famous leading techno club the AETHER 'TAEC' party series. She has a really impulsive style and you can always find that sneaky deep pulse in her music that is present through her sets… She's a real wolf in sheep's clothing.
