The first time I've done a Junto project since 0055, this was a fairly quick effort to try out new plugins and software. I'd recently picked up the new version 10 of Acid Music Studio, which was where I first started making sample-based music in earnest, and I'd also bought a few new plugins from the excellent Inear Display, whose work tends toward the experimental/glitch end of things.

I cropped the audio files in question to the requisite length (30 seconds of one, 10 of another, 20 of the third) and arranged them in Acid, in admittedly a rather haphazard manner but one which was intended not to give any one of the clips dominance over the others. I used six audio tracks in total, repeating each clip twice. Each had a single VST effect applied to it, all from Inear Display with the exception of one, which had Togu Audio Line's excellent (and free) DUB-III plugin applied.

The master bus had compressor, tape sim, and a couple of reverbs (including Nomad Factory's excellent COSMOS) applied, along with a couple of utilities to push the mix a little further. Overall the sound is a fairly thickly textured ambient industrial/noise piece, which seems like quite a pleasing result given the source audio.

Also, I'm deaf in one ear at the moment, so if this is really terribly balanced, that's why.
