This is a folk pop singer songwriter song.
It is my first ever composed and recorded song.
I wrote it after my boyfriend and I had to part away because we moved to study at different universities in the US.

I composed it based on my student experience. It's inspired by my first year of college. 

Young people experience so much pressure to become someone in the eyes of others. Pressure to be integrated into society among the billions who live their rushed mediocre lives of work, eat, sleep, repeat. But isn't there more to life?

Pressure

This is a singer-songwriter song. It shows my love for combining different voices. I love finding harmonies and singing with other people or with myself. 

Have you ever felt strongly about someone but weren't sure if your feelings were reciprocated?
- Yeah, me too.

Longing

This is a singer-songwriter song. 

Similarly to the song "Pressure", this song also reflects on the expectations young people are facing. How young people are forced to find their career in their teens and to choose from the options offered by the college career centre. 

In our rushed world, I am trying to remind myself that in the first place, life should be enjoyable, and all other things fall into place.

People might call me a dreamer. But as I explain in the song: "While you're living a life, I'm living a musical."
