A orillas de la fría laguna , del sol picante y la majestuosa inmensidad,
entusiasmado por el pronto descubrimiento ,bajo la presión q la altura ejercía sobre mi frágil pero bien aventurado cuerpo,rodeado de tierras ancestrales que revelaban ante mi, mi propia esencia.

Tras años de obligarme a adoptar una realidad a la cual no le debía pertenencia ,
sumergido en visiones artificiales , proyectadas desde el ojo externo de la ignorancia.

Después de despertar del profundo sueño que el soñador ignora.

Se derraman las hermosas melodías que de las entrañas brotan,
que se identifican con las raíces caladas en las tierras de donde un día floreció mi existencia.

Reactivando memorias , emociones , lecciones que desde la infancia suprimidas yacían en silencio , recuperando así mi ser, mi sonido , mi nombre .

Klangstrom is a creature rarely spotted outside the wind-swept city at the Baltic Sea, despite having produced some of the best downbeat tracks you’ve probably never heard of. Featuring rusty guitar samples and subtle synth lines, his music combines elements of trance, hiphop and folklore, culminating in an emotional, outward looking and physical sound.

Como baterista, ha formado parte de agrupaciones de rock indie / electrónico como Kitsch, Black Est Noir y Playa.

Con más de una década de experiencia como practicante e instructor de yoga, ha logrado integrar los beneficios de la meditación con su pasión por la música, dando vida a experiencias sonoras trascendentales que combinan frecuencias, vibraciones sanadoras y movimiento consciente.

Actualmente forma parte del crew de artistas y DJ del label, Shakti Records.

As far back as he can remember Marc Gerrard has been surrounded by quality music. Born in Southport, England (it’s grim up north) he comes from one of the most prolific musical countries on the planet and thus brought with him an appetite for music unique to the English. 

After his first concert experience of seeing the Jackson 5 (reunion tour) at the impressionable age of 10, he has since undergone an evolution that has taken him through britpop, indie, funk and into electronic music where now as a DJ he combines the best of all his experience and has developed a virtuosity with his ability to blend the organic with the electronic, traversing genres and taking his listeners on unpredictable yet soulful musical journeys.

His transition from alternative to electronica took place during a stint in Amsterdam where he lived for several years, witnessing a spectrum of bands in the musical cathedral known as Paradiso. There he also got his first taste of European DJ culture. Upon returning to Canada with his expanded musical repertoire, Marc Gerrard bought some decks and began to hone his craft to find his niche and sound.

After playing out around the city at various venues and festivals, Marc Gerrard met Major Tom whereby they quickly developed a kinship through their similar musical proclivities for blending the organic with the electronic. They most recently teamed up to form the DE Kollektiv where with their sound, they strive to explore the boundaries of genre and craft while pushing what defines electronic music. But through all this they always remember and maintain the core value of connecting with their audience by providing a memorable musical experience.
