Daisuke Yamagishiによるソロ・プロジェクト"OMB"。90年代初頭ニューヨークへ渡り、そのクラブ・シーンに大きく刺激と影響を受け、帰国後、DJ活動は活発化し、同時に楽曲制作を開始。そして2001年、才気溢れる1stアルバム"Night Shift"で鮮烈にデビュー。その後、Beeperhorn/Whiteroom(3beat/uk)やExplicit(Womb/JP)のリリースを皮切りに、i Records(US) . Octopus(Ger) . Silver Planet(UK) . Baroque(UK) . Flow Vinyl(Por) . King Street(US) . Nitelist(JP)"など国内外の主要レーベルからオリジナル作品やリミックス・ワークを数多くリリース。さらに、"Audiotherapy(UK)"からリリースされた“Dave Seaman/My Own Worst Enemy- OMB Remix”はChemical、Brothers、Underworld、Tiestoらと並び"Cream DVD"に収録され大きな話題を呼び、シーン最全盛時のJohn Digweed、Paul Oakenfold、Deep Dish、Hernan Cattaneo、Anthony PappaなどのトップDJに瞬く間に見い出され、数少ない日本発の世界標準アーティストしてその名を馳せる事となる。また国内において、DJ EMMA主宰の"Nitelist"からリリースされた"Fresh"がスマッシュ・ヒットし、国内での認知度も急速に増加。
これまで、自身のオリジナル・アルバムを合計4枚リリースし、自身が主宰するレーベル"Frame Recordings"においては自身の楽曲のみならず、国内外の気鋭のアーティストの優れた作品や、コンピレーション・アルバムなどを精力的に12inch、CD、Digitalにてリリース。並行して開催されるパーティー"Frame"は、国内外の旬のアーティストをゲストに迎え入れ、そのクオリティの高さで国内屈指のパーティーとなっている。また、アンダーグランドなシーンを飛び越えた活躍も目覚ましく、大手時計ブランド“Franck Muller”や“X-BOX Project Gotham Racing 2”などに楽曲を提供。これらの功績から、DJ、プロデューサー、オーガナイザー、レーベル・オーナーとして、グローバルシーンから絶大な信頼を集め、今尚その活動の勢いは留まる事を知らない。常に自身の作品や、アーティストとしての可能性を高める為に模索し続ける彼の動向には今後も目が離せない。現在The Lunatic Thunder時代から盟友の、近田春夫氏とのユニット”LUNASUN”初アルバム"Organ HeavenのリリースをVictor Entertainmentから2018/12/19リリース!

DJ & producer Daisuke Yamagishi, better known as OMB has been acting positively for years in Japan and as well as overseas. His groovy and atmospheric production skills have been discovered by the leaders in dance music, such as John Digweed and Anthony Pappa and that leads him to release tracks like “Beeperhorn / Whiteroom” form 3beat (U.K.) and "Explicit" from Womb (JP). His tracks have been in the set list of Paul Oakenfold, Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, Seb Fontaine, to name a few. Obviously he is one of the few DJs/producers that increase global profile. He has also released tracks form the strong labels, such as Audiotherapy (U.K.), Silver Planet (U.K.), Screen (Italy), 3beat (U.K.), womb (JP), Acute (US), and Nitelist (JP). In 2004, he was asked to produce a remix of Dave Seaman’s hit release, "My Own Worst Enemy" and that remix was compiled in Cream DVD, has also the music from Chemical Brothers, Underworld, and Tiësto. He also produced music for major companies, such as Franck Muller and X-BOX game "Project Gotham Racing 2.”
As a leading figure of dance music in Japan, he produces his own party “Frame” regularly and invites the best DJs from all over the world. He also runs his own label, Frame Recordings, in order to release his own material and talented upcoming artists. He has just released 4th album, “FUEL” in December 2008.

Currently one of the most versatile producers in the scene, Hamdi’s ability to produce a wide range of styles and genres has made him an exciting prospect for any label to get their hands on. Hamdi’s signature blend of Dubstep, UKG and Grime has earned him support from some of the biggest artists in the world, including Skrillex, Knife Party, Fred Again.., Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson. Closer to home, Hamdi has consistently received support from the UK underground scene’s most prestigious acts, including DJ EZ, Skream, Sherelle and Mala. 

His track Skanka has taken the world by storm and was arguably one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of 2022, with DJ Mag writing '‘Skanka’ has already proven its staying power and firmly cemented its place as a modern classic.' Hamdi has also become known for his energetic DJ sets that have already taken him to India, Australia and the United States. As 3000 Blog wrote, ‘there really aren’t many who are keeping pace with Hamdi, as he tends to fly from deck to deck, pulling the audience from left to right in a seriously thrilled multi-genre ride.’ With releases on labels such as Bassrush, Deadbeats, and Vision Recordings already under his belt, it's safe to say the future is bright for Hamdi.
