'Helium : Resleeved’ as part of Akudama’s Resleeved project, is a spacey Breakbeat track that takes you on a cosmic journey to the dark and groovy beyond, showcasing a new side of Akudama’s versatility. 

The new song title ‘He2’ is inspired by the original ‘Helium’, being the second-most abundant element in the cosmos, accounting for about 25 percent of the atoms in the universe. 

‘He2’ specifically is a molecule consisting of two helium atoms - the helium dimer. The bond holding this dimer together is so weak, it will break if the molecule rotates or vibrates too much - just as we are ‘breaking loose’ when the speakers' sound waves hit our bodies.

Katana’s resleeved version “刀”, as part of Akudama’s Resleeved Project, teleports you to a rave somewhere in a decaying and dystopian cyberpunk reality. It is a Japanese-inspired genre blend of Acid Techno and Heavy Metal with ethereal hymns that make this song hypnotizing and eerie. 

This version of Katana pushes you to a Psytrance space that is unique and energizing, whilst showcasing Akudama’s producing versatility and staying true to their futuristic cyberpunk style. From the synthesized Shamisen to the Heavy Metal break, you will be taken on a journey.

“CSWS” is an acronym for “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop”, the cheeky and sassy anthem of a queer open-air party on a hot September day. The lyrics express the attitude of having fun and being free, regardless of what others may think or say.
