This is a back story concept & track that I came up with that was inspired by the 12 part comic book series "Sonic & Mega Man: Worlds Collide". My goal was to create a blend of Sonic & Mega Man vibes with a Sega Genesis type flavor. I could have went harder with this track but I took the "less is more" approach...which means I belted this out on the keys pretty quickly, chords and baseline wise. Lead melody wise, I covered some Green Hill here...and also some Mega Man 8 in the last moments of the track. Thanks for listening...I might do more with this "Sonic & Mega Man" concept if this track gets enough recognition.  Enjoy!

Sonic Overdrive - Cascade Valley Zone Act 1

I felt it was time to do another project. This time, I'm tackling the more underrated games such as this racer, Mickey's Speedway USA. I'm sad that it didn't get the spotlight that it truly deserved, and this game has so much potential to become something more.

Even though a sequel will be unlikely, I wanna keep this game alive by doing justice to the soundtrack that is completely funky, jazzy, and experimental at the same time. Shout outs to Ben Cullum for creating the most awesome Original Soundtrack to this hard-as-hell racing game lol

Hey everyone! My name's MiDO, And I'm a remix artist like everyone else on Sound Test. I've done a few Sonic remixes on my music channel and own personal soundcloud, but this is a Sound Test exclusive-- Quartz Quadrant Catastrophic Mix! A remix of the Japanese version of the BGM for Quartz Quadrant Bad Future from Sonic CD! I completely re-made the "Ooh, we're gonna rock this place!" sample using a "ooh/woo" sound that was used in Mania's Stardust Speedway ACT 2 BGM.  Fun fact: The guy saying "we're gonna rock this place" is actually from KISS, and the sample came from a KISS concert!
