Silas Hite is an Emmy-winning composer with music in his DNA.  He began his career co-scoring blockbuster films like Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs with his uncle, noted composer Mark Mothersbaugh (DEVO).  His music plays in television shows around the world, from a series of investigative crime specials for the BBC, to foodie favorites Chef's Table (Netflix) and The Big Brunch (HBO).

     He has scored hundreds of commercials for clients such as Apple, McDonalds, and Chevy, earning him an Emmy, Adweek's Campaign of the Decade, and most recently a Titanium Grand Prix from Cannes.  He’s contributed memorable music to top selling video games such as The Sims 2, Skate 3 and The Simpsons.  His music has played in such venerable institutions as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, the New York Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Museum, and The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Alma Sangre is a 2 piece Latino roots duo combining Spanish guitar and lyrics accompanied by flamenco rhythms and dance. The band features singer/guitarist Antonio Aguilar (featured in Premier Guitar Magazine) and multi instrumentalist and dancer Meg Castellanos. Inspired by the grit and emotion of Chavela Vargas, their music is poetic and filled with dramatic tension. 

Alma Sangre was formed in 2014 after their rock band Totimoshi wound down but was put aside when they formed All Souls in 2016. Wanting to focus back on acoustic music, they started playing as Alma Sangre again in 2023 and are busy writing new material which expands into gypsy jazz and experimental classical guitar.  
 
Composer Antonio Aguilar often references his personal stories in song. A child of campesinos and family organizers for the Cesar Chavez United Farm Workers movement, his experiences wind their way into these modern day corridos. The song El Cortito, (the short handed hoe) tells the story of all that was wrong with the treatment of field workers during 70's while he was a child laborer alongside his mother. "Hay algunos sin verguenza, los que nunca reclaman culpa. La historia de el cortito, es uno de esos cuentos."

The performances are theatrical, utilizing mournful vocals, expressive Spanish dance and original material that will become familiar upon first listen. Husband and wife Aguilar and Castellanos honor their Mexican and Cuban roots in this eclectic and enigmatic group. 

Alma Sangre have played galleries, restaurants, event centers, wineries and clubs from San Francisco to LA, Joshua Tree to Baja. 

They have just recorded a new 5 song EP, bringing in their long time collaborator Fredo Ortiz (Los Lobos, Beastie Boys, Gogol Bordello).

 • Echoes “Qi” or “Chi”—life force, prana, scalar breath.
 • In Japanese, “Ki” represents energy or spirit.
 • It also reflects a vertical axis (Y-prime in Codex geometry)—the implosive feminine vector of reception, presence, and coherence.

Thus, “Ki” encodes the field of life energy, the vertical harmonic that receives and anchors cosmic breath into form.

<<>>ALUNA<<>>  is a co-creation project of two artists who share the same vision and complement each other in their creations. Steffen Ki @steffenkirchhoff and Maywa @maywa create organic downtempo and ambient music that is inspired by ancient mystic teachings, shamanic rituals and the connection to nature.

Their sound is magical, alive and organic. tribal and emotional , warm and gentle, healing and powerful, soulful and heartopening. Like medicine, deeply connected to ancestral roots, reflecting the voice of Earth.

In fact, their music project finds its origin in the Columbian forests where these beautiful souls first met, as soloist artists. The word ALUNA also descends from the natives of that land. Among the Kogi people, Aluna represents the "cosmic mind" the mysterious realm from which all life is being dreamt and sung into exsistence.

Sisters Leah and Chloe Smith founded Rising Appalachia on their back porch in Georgia, playing simple fiddle and banjo melodies and leaning into their families rich musical traditions. It has since become a globally recognized Americana and world folk ensemble, celebrating a unique blend of Southern-rooted music, storytelling, and community. The band features David Brown (bass, guitar), Duncan Wickel (fiddle, cello), and Biko Casini (percussion), and infuses music with a unique tapestry of Appalachian, Irish and traditional influence but stays connected to simple songwriting. Rising Appalachia has captivated audiences for nearly 2 decades, from busking in New Orleans to touring Europe, and has been featured at prestigious venues like Red Rocks, Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Woodford Folk Fest. Their performances at NPR's Tiny Desk and Preservation Jazz Hall have solidified their status in the folk music scene. Breaking industry norms, the band's approach to music is as much an artistic statement as it is a movement, culminating in their newest album, 'Folk and Anchor' a carefully curated collection of cover songs. This project includes remakes from Bob Dylan to James Blake, Erykah Badu to Beyonce and showcases their eclectic style, inviting listeners into a rich musical journey.
