Juntos (Spanish for together), the debut album from ALUNA, is a testament to a new paradigm of music. It is a collaborative project through and through. Pulling from the indigenous traditions and fusing their experiences with the sounds of the moment, ALUNA has landed something timeless. Steffen Ki and Maywa have joined forces with some of their favorite musicians, bringing us a masterfully crafted collection of music that expands beyond borders, cultures, and genres.

Much of the influence for this album comes from Maywa’s time spent living in the rainforests of South America and Steffen Ki’s own journey into nature through his travels around the world. ALUNA was born out of a love affair between these two beautiful beings and so it is fitting that they extended their embrace to some of their closest friends and producers in the creation of this collaborative work.

All the songs from this album are derived from music written by Maywa. Just one song, Agua de Flores, is an adaptation of a traditional ceremony song. Maywa’s voice is the common thread weaving all 8 tracks together into a seamless story of love, peace, and connection to nature.

The first seeds of this album were planted 2 years ago, exactly the time of the first vision of this label Resueño. It is with great joy that the album and the label circle back around to meet each other once again. The beauty that manifests when we come together to support each other and to create as a family is also a testament to the new paradigm which is upon us. This is a call to come together, Juntos.

This channeled Sound Healing Journey was created with the intention to allow for deep grounding and connection with the Earth. To root ourselves and our consciousness deeply into our essence and gain stability, strength and trust.

To harmonize with the frequency of the Earth we chose the Earth Day Frequency and Tuning. 

 Frequency of the Earth-Day (based on The Cosmic Octave by Hans Cousto)

Chakra:         Muladhara - Root Chakra (intestines / kundalini)

We also included the binaural beat Frequency of 7.83Hz which represents the Schumann Earth Resonance Frequency and supports our Brain to shift into a deep relaxed Alpha Brainwave State.

The shamanic drumming helps us to get into a trance like state where the mind and body can fully relax.

In Addtion we implemented Drone Sounds of the Solfeggio Frequency of 396Hz which resonates the root chakra and supports us to let go off fear and calm down the nervous system.

Maywa is tuning into and channeling the Frequencies of Mother Gaia that emphasize and express the love and support we can receive if we connect with our roots and the consciousness of our planetary mother.

We highly recommend to listen with headphones in a quiet environment and a comfortable position. We also suggest to drink plenty of water to integrate those frequencies and activations.

"Atonement" or AT-ONE-MENT is the ancient word for Sound Healing.

For the ancients Solfeggio Frequencies represented "the Key to the Kingdom of Heaven" because they are sonic expressions of the divine intelligence of life and represent the wholeness and completeness of the universe. They are frequencies of the "highest order"  and can support us to raise our vibrations and get back into our natural state of balance, harmony and oneness.

Those are frequencies used in this particular SOLFEGGIO AT-ONE-MENT:

55,5 Hz Subharmonic of 111 Hz

111Hz – base frequency , first note in the solfeggio matrix and also first note of the “angelic solfeggio scale” , Findings of MRI scans suggest that at exactly 111hz, the brain switches off the prefrontal cortex, deactivating the language centre, and  temporary switches from left to right-sided dominance , that is responsible for intuition, creativity, holistic processing, inducing a state of meditation or a trance. 

128 Hz – ancient frequency used by the hopi indians, related to the heart chakra but also a “master frequency” that brings harmony and balance to all organs in the physical body

222 Hz – frequency that is related to inner mastery, it also stands for balance, together with other “angelic frequencies” it can open a gateway into higher dimensions and consciousness

333 Hz – frequency related to boosting manifestations and creations, 3,6,9 are the numbers that govern our physical reality

396 Hz – letting go of fear, guilt and shame, releasing old karma and negative beliefs assists in calming down the nervous system and in reprogramming our subconscious
assists in reversing symptoms of stress, anxiety and worries by releasing negative emotions and energy blockages

444 Hz – frequency that represents consciousness, also the Root Note “A” in the solfeggio tuning

528 Hz - "Miracle Frequency" can repair and active our DNA

666 Hz – connecting us to higher dimensions and our higher self

639 Hz – related to the heart chakra, assists to create more loving and harmonious relationships with others and ourselves

963 Hz – related to the direct connection to source and our higher self, allows us to connect with the higher realms and assists us to open up to the experience of unconditional love.

In addition the frequencies 369, 639 and 963 are plused as isochronic tones vibrating at 3.96 Hz that help our brain hemispheres to get in sync and to induce a deep meditative and relaxed theta brainwave state.

All the instruments (singing bowls, chrystal bowls, synhts) are tuned to 444Hz (which equals to C= 528Hz) and all settings and modulations are adding up to the numbers of 3,6,9 for maximum coherence and harmony ;)

Maywa has channeled specific sounds and vibrations (light codes) that are connected to the intention of inner peace and harmony.

We recorded this journey on the powerful full moon eclipse of May 26th 2021 so it's extra charged and the amplifying qualities of the eclipse are captured in this session and imprinted into the audio file.

Headphones are not necessary because of the isochronic tones (unlike binaural beats which only work on headphones, isochronic tones work also while listening on speakers)

Listening regularly will result in the anchoring of those frequencies and high vibrations in your energy field.

This is the recording of the Silent Disco Ecstatic Dance Hybrid set that we played on the beach at Pranamar in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica during the full moon in aquarius on july 23rd 2021.

It was such a magical night. The fact that everyone was listening to the music on wireless headphones allowed them to immerse themselves fully in the sounds while connecting with nature, with the feet in the ocean dancing under the full moon. What a magical night it was. We hope you can feel the medicine of this magical co-creation with the moon and the deep blue sea.

Since there is a lot of fear and confusion on the planet right now and so much information and so many different agendas out there it can be hard to figure out the truth. That's why we created this sound healing journey to help you activate your "3rd Eye" and be able to tune into your internal truth and wisdom. Your higher self is the only authority you should listen to, because it knows what's right for you. Your truth might be completely different from the truth of someone else. About the journey:
We used a sound healing concept called "Planetary Tunings" or "The Cosmic Octave" as a foundation for this Sound Journey. Its a way of re-attuning with the cosmos that creates balance and harmony within. Each energy center is resonated by a different planet. And based on their rotational movement a frequency can be calculated based on the formula of the cosmic octave by Hans Cousto. The 3rd Eye Chakra - The energy center that governs our ability to see the truth and have a clear mind and see a bigger picture or reality is resonated by the planet Venus.

Solfeggio Frequencies are ancient healing frequencies that have been recently re-discovered and shown to have a huge positive effect on the physical and spiritual aspects of our lives. They represent sacred geometry and the divine order and harmony of creation transformed into sound. They also resonate and balance our chakras. there is a specific frequency for each chakra. "The name Bobinsana comes from a sacred tree that I knew for the first time when I lived in the Peruvian jungle, sharing and learning with Shipibo women who heal with songs and plants. With love the threads have been woven in me, reborn, remembering this knowledge in me, and from my heart every day I honor this medicine through my singing, through our music with Steffen.
 
This tree has been presented several times in my path, until I recieved this song-icaro through my dreams in Guatemala. The tree was in our garden next to our window.
The plants sing to us, I listen to them through silence, as in dreams, they remind us that there are no borders between the visible and invisible world. With Steffen I shared this song-icaro, this melody, these words that I recieved in my dreams and he was just creating a track at the same time, I heard it and we realized that we were creating together from the invisible "

Yuruba, a co-creation with J.Pool, is also an original song that I created while living in Chile on Chiloe Island in a water forest. I sat next to a tree and connected with ancient roots of Africa.

Pulling from the indigenous traditions and fusing their experiences with the sounds of the moment, ALUNA has landed something timeless. Steffen Ki and Maywa have joined forces with some of their favorite musicians, bringing us a masterfully crafted collection of music that expands beyond borders, cultures, and genres. 

Much of the influence for this album comes from Maywa’s time spent living in the rainforests of South America and Steffen Ki’s own journey into nature through his travels around the world. ALUNA was born out of a love affair between these two beautiful beings and so it is fitting that they extended their embrace to some of their closest friends and producers in the creation of this collaborative work.

Ininti, a co-creation with Intiche, comes from an icaro that I have created in the indigenous language Shipibo conibo. It is one of the icaros that I have created in this language after living 2 years in the jungle in Peru. Ininti means Perfume. ALUNA live for the Pinuya Tree Nursery Reforestation Fundraiser Event @ Casa Colibri (Costa Rica)

In this sound healing journey Maywa is channeling the frequencies of the beings from the ocean. The whale medicine teaches us to use sounds and frequencies to heal our emotional body. The whales are seen as ancient wisdom keepers that carry within them the knowledge of the earth and the stars. Those frequencies can be helpful to release negative emotions, rest deep and to activate your DNA and remember your true self.

The following frequencies and settings are used to benefit this intention:

The Bpm of this journey is 108. A number code that is considered sacred in many ancient and modern mystic tradtitions. It reflects perfection and its 1/4th of 432, another number sequence that can be found everywhere throughout nature. The low drone sound is made up of recordings of real whale sounds.

We use binaural beats to help the brain to get into a state of relaxation and deep meditation. We start with the alpha brain waves and progress into a theta state of deep meditation and bring back the alpha waves towards the end.

We recorded 2 crystal bowls tuned to the healing frequencies 528hz and 432hz.

528 hz is considered to be a resonant frequency that can be found in nature and is associated with the hexagonal shape and our DNA. The Scientist John Hutchinson successfully used 528 Hz to clean up water after an oil spillage in the gulf of mexico and many positive and healing effects have been shown in various studies. 

432 Hz is a tuning that is in resonance with the harmonics of nature and the cosmos. It helps to open the heart and calm the mind.

In addition to help balance body, mind and soul we used recordings of biorhythm tuning forks and a combination of sacred geometry frequencies (180Hz, 360Hz, 450Hz and 540Hz)

To enhance the harmonization and relaxation effect we infused this sound journey with field recordings of nature, solfeggio frequencies, a drone playing in 528 Hz (which is a frequency that directly communicates with our DNA and cellular structure) and the instruments are tuned to the natural harmonic tuning of 432Hz.

<<>>ALUNA<<>>  is a co-creation project of two artists who share the same vision and complement each other in their creations. Steffen Ki @steffenkirchhoff and Maywa @maywa create organic downtempo and ambient music that is inspired by ancient mystic teachings, shamanic rituals and the connection to nature.

Their sound is magical, alive and organic. tribal and emotional , warm and gentle, healing and powerful, soulful and heartopening. Like medicine, deeply connected to ancestral roots, reflecting the voice of Earth.

In fact, their music project finds its origin in the Columbian forests where these beautiful souls first met, as soloist artists. The word ALUNA also descends from the natives of that land. Among the Kogi people, Aluna represents the "cosmic mind" the mysterious realm from which all life is being dreamt and sung into exsistence.
