His mother played music for Alfred to sooth him and Alfred's father is an accomplished musician in his own right, performing professionally throughout India.

Alfred has drawn inspiration from a number of artist including but not limited to The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Toto, Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, Maroon 5, Jason Mraz, Plain White T's, Imagine Dragons and many more. Alfred has also develop a love of Western music performing many covers.
