I feel beyond blessed, honored and grateful to be invited to play for the beautiful Maxa family in their new home in Baja. This evening, the production, the art car, crania, the family, the happy campers in the crowd, the absence of fear between us beautiful humans and the abundance of support, smiles and love made this weekend feel like home.

Live recording from the Boda de Muertos event in Puebla for Dia de los Muertos in November 2021. Beautiful 2-day celebration in this magical environment curated By Deborah Vertiz and her team. The 1st night collaboration was done with the Amaya team for a welcome get together in a splendid colonial building.
2 nights with wonderful artists such as Ali Mae, Jenia Tarsol, Nico Stojan, Rovertzon, Lato, and Lovecraft - i hope you enjoy the ride. 1am to 4am high energy but still with a noticeable downtempo and melodic rhythms 🖤

After our fifth unforgettable @nonsensecollective it was a pleasure to bring our merry band of revelers over to @sommosoundscapes for a fantastic night of fresh, delicious sushi and mouthwatering cocktails and mezcal.

The restaurant’s architecture and layout create a seductive ambiance, and I was happy to contribute (what I think was) a laid-back and sexy vibe on the dancefloor, which grew throughout the evening.  

This mix evolves from 79 BPM to finish with some classic rock edits at 108 BPM.

I rarely get to put together something like this in such a beautiful setting, so I hope you enjoy listening as much as we all did that night!

This magical set from Catori was recorded live at the Creek Cafe at the PYNK X Gathering in Vermont on August 3rd, 2019. We loved this deep and emotional set of gorgeous music -- we immediately asked her to record a mix for our little radio show -- turns out the set was recorded and we are thrilled to present it here for your listening pleasure. <3

Catori works with sound both electronically and acoustically. Her style ranges from organic tribal house and to ambient meditation soundscapes. With early influences ranging from Latin to reggae and onward to her classical training in voice and violin, she draws inspiration from a rich cultural upbringing and international exploration.

this set was recorded live from the gorgeous club of azulik called "xooch" on january 31, 2021, just six days after tulum succumbed to inevitable covid regulations. it is a symbolic representation of my continual struggle between the urge to obey the covid restrictions that keep us all separated, and the urge to disobey, continuing to unite people through music. you can hear this specifically toward the end where I struggle to play "chill/downtempo" as I'd been instructed to play on the day off.  it became so difficult to resist the primal urge to encourage people to dance, and you may be able to sense my struggle when you listen. I hope you enjoy the journey and can feel the love coming through this set, as much as I felt while playing it. enjoy!!
