Shunya - described by critics as an ‘enigmatic new discovery’ - is an internationally touring artist and collaborator who has worked with some of the most exciting talents in world music - including South African cellist Abel Selaocoe. He is also son of legendary Irish guitarist and producer Dave Keary (Van Morrison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Emma Bunton)

In 2021, he was commissioned to arrange music for orchestra for Abel’s debut BBC Prom Africa meets Europe, which he also performed in, at the Royal Albert Hall, a show that was met with universal praise. The same year, he provided a remix for acclaimed jazz trio Go Go Penguin’s GGP/RMX album. Despite featuring on the project alongside electronic heavyweights such as Squarepusher, Clark and 808 State, Shunya’s reworking of To The Nth was described as ‘almost stealing the record’.
Shunya has released three previous EPs and two singles - with track Wonder N Wane feat. Hayley Williams receiving support from Huw Stephens, BBC Radio 1. He also hosts his own monthly show on Soho Radio in which he interviews other artists and curates a wide selection of sounds - finding the threads that bind music from different cultures together.

Dance, No One's Watching - the new album from Mercury Prize winners Ezra Collective, is an ode to the sacred, yet joyous act of dancing. The album musically guides you through a night out in the city, from the opening of possibilities as a new evening spans out ahead, to dawn’s final hours as the night comes to a close. 

Written during a blistering 2023 which saw Ezra Collective tour the world, and become the first jazz act to win the Mercury Prize, Dance, No One's Watching is a documentation of the many dance floors they encountered. From London to Chicago, Lagos to Sydney, dance and rhythm connect us. These songs are a testament to that spirit.
