I hear ya on the AI thing. It's a concerning development. Agree, as long as artists keep producing their art, AI won't completely take over. I plan on keeping on keeping on. … Your flow, ability, and fabulous talent for composition and performance could NEVER be outdone. No worries there. You are one helluva gifted artist!!! 💙🤩✌️

There's a good side to it. Listening to this amazing track I would say that your distaste for AI is boosting your desire to create masterpieces.

Pity Party

The track is inspired by the rise of AI in the ARTS.....which I see as coming from the "dark side". I don't condone it and am very much opposed to it. We can already see the confusion it has caused regarding copyright etc. I have no doubt that in the short term it will prevail, however "real" art will survive as long as all artists (musical and otherwise), continue to create. Not having a crystal ball, prevents one, maybe for the better, seeing how the future pans out.  
Meanwhile from a musician's/composer's aspect, I shall endeavour to play and create without the use of AI. Neither will I listen to it in any shape or form.

Now retired from a life 'on the road' as a freelance keyboard player, I compose and record in my home studio, situated in the Carrick Hills in Southern Scotland. My music is mainly instrumental in nature and is a reflection of my life experience, sometimes real and sometimes imagined.
My influences are many and I have quite probably been shaped by listening to the very many "giants" of music, both players and composers. From classical to contemporary jazz and everything in between. My main instrument is the keyboard, whether that be piano, organ or synth. But I also play banjo, flute and percussion. I have a special relationship'with bass, whether upright or electric and use virtual and synth basses from numerous sources, but mainly Trilian by Spectrasonics.
