Unfortunately the AI genie "is out of the bottle" and it has every instrument and music genre at its disposal.  It will pose a challenge to musicians who have worked a lifetime to hone their craft, and may even become a temptation to use when writer's block sets in.  Your music has an element of menace, but a superbly crafted statement.

Rain...too little of it and there is drought, too much of it and there are deadly, destructive floods, just the right amount and the earth flourishes; crops grow, gardens bloom, our spirits are refreshed and encouraged.  This song begs the questions; are mankind's plans, philosophies, charitable endeavors, or selfish goals like the rain that can benefit mankind or destroy it?  Do novel ideas work for the moral structure of humanity or is the ancient wisdom better? There are no easy answers to the questions Peter asks in the lyrics, but they are questions we should consider as we see the world aflame--which is another blessing of rain, it can put out fires.

The track is inspired by the rise of AI in the ARTS.....which I see as coming from the "dark side". I don't condone it and am very much opposed to it. We can already see the confusion it has caused regarding copyright etc. I have no doubt that in the short term it will prevail, however "real" art will survive as long as all artists (musical and otherwise), continue to create. Not having a crystal ball, prevents one, maybe for the better, seeing how the future pans out.  
Meanwhile from a musician's/composer's aspect, I shall endeavour to play and create without the use of AI. Neither will I listen to it in any shape or form.

This song began in the dead of winter on a cold night with Josh sitting in his studio with his acoustic guitar playing along to a looper beat. He loves bossa nova music and wanted to write a song in that style. Of course, he wrote it with the Eclectic Collecive in mind. 
  Josh also came up with the bass line to the looper, but changed it once Ken weighed in with his perfectly suited drum kit. He also added the funky main percussion you hear throughout. Then JJ got involved and laid down that wonderfully melodic organ part you hear in there. Josh, having not laid down a lead guitar part yet, used JJ melodic idea for the first verse, too, because it's so strong. Mark was last to the trough, but added several really stunning parts that added a lot of depth to the whole thing. He's responsible for the horn arrangement that accompanies JJ's organ solo, as well as the horn arrangement and entire break section at the end, which he not only drumed on, but edited and inserted seamlessly, as well. He also added percussion to Ken's percussion throughout the entire song, as well. He still gets paid the same as the rest of us, though 
  This is an example of us Josh introducing an unfamiliar type of music, and it being picked up on and carried through expertly as a group unit. We all love a challenge in the EC, and this fit the bill. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Last movement of the rock symphony, where I pay tribute to, and play, my mom's spanish guitar.
Main theme (bass E1-A1...E1-A1-E2...), appears all along the album, and also main themes of other 3 movements sound here as refrains (Vienen y van / Hora tras hora) which are thus sung over 4 different musics ;) E-Ruizzo project is finished, what's to come?... below translated lyrics.

Now retired from a life 'on the road' as a freelance keyboard player, I compose and record in my home studio, situated in the Carrick Hills in Southern Scotland. My music is mainly instrumental in nature and is a reflection of my life experience, sometimes real and sometimes imagined.
