Early demo of “Far Leys.”

This one came from imagining a visit to Far Leys — the quiet country house where Nick Drake once lived. The feeling is like walking through an old orchard in summer, hoping to reconnect with someone you can’t quite reach anymore.
It’s soft, simple, and a bit dreamy. Just guitar, voice, and a moment.

Still rough around the edges, but I wanted to share it before I start polishing.

This song came from one of those quiet November moments when the world feels cold and still, and you’re not even sure what you’re grateful for — but you feel it anyway. It’s about standing in the middle of winter’s chill, watching the bare trees, hearing the wind, and realizing there’s a small fire inside you that refuses to go out.

It’s cozy and reflective, like being wrapped in a blanket while the wind howls outside. It’s about finding warmth even when things feel frozen, seeing a glow even on the gray days, and letting the winter teach you how to grow.

Sometimes gratitude isn’t loud or obvious. Sometimes it’s soft, simple, and quiet — like snow falling or a low-burning fire. This song is my way of holding onto those moments and sharing that warmth with you.
