Born and raised in west Berlin Michel Neigenfnd had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age. Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80's, he soon realized musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions when his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. The steadily growing success of the URSLRecords label which Madmotormiquel has been running together with Sebo and Soukie & Windish since 2010, has been a continuing reason for being booked way beyond the boundaries of Berlin. Carlos Heredia was drawn to djing and mixing while in London back in 2010. As his passion for music continued to thrive, he delved into varying styles and genres to craft his adventure in sound as a musical artist.

In 2011 he ventured off to Berlin and there discovered his zest for instrumental ethereal sounds with hints of electronic. His roots called him back home in 2016 and he’s flourished in the music scene in Tulum, Mexico, where he developed the sound you hear him play today. In 2021, Carlos co-founded the record label Kilómetro 4.5 (Km4.5)

Varying from, House, Deep House, Indie Dance, and Disco to Downtempo, you can catch him in Tulum, Mexico, finding the right balance for both the mellow-groovers and the dance-floor enthusiasts. To music friends and comrades in the industry, he is known as LITOS.

As if the sunrise set slot on Friday morning wasn’t already enough of an honor, we all got blessed with the mind-blowing Drone show from Studio Drift while the sky slowly turned blue and red in the morning shimmer. 

Thinking back about this surreal moment still fills us with speechlessness and goosebumps.

Indeed this year's Burning Man theme was spot on: Waking Dreams all around us.

Nico Stojan @ Bachstelzen Fusion Festival 2016

The more we live in the new realities, the harder it becomes to imagine what life would be like if the virus thing had not happened at all. It’s only a matter of time when we’ll run out of days we had planned before the pandemic, which became invisible pages in some unwritten book. We’ll then come to terms with the new days, realizing that we are going to divide life before the isolation and after it, stuck amid some incomprehensible present, a what-we-could-have-done past and the what-comes-ahead future. No matter how fast we come to terms with the fact that we need to redefine and re-plan everything, and no matter how soon we decide to abstain from planning anything at all, we are nonetheless going to have a small and insignificant feeling of regret for the days we thought were important and were going to change the way we felt and the way saw things. And those “unfulfilled days” will remain the only link between the former and future realities.
@vikenarman and @acidpauli’s six-hour set they played at @Rambalkoshe marked, in some sense, the beginning of their joint performances. They were supposed to play b2b all night long at Berlin’s Watergate club today to officially kick start the new chapter both of them were so passionate about. To celebrate such a milestone, we are publishing an excerpt from the set this unbelievable symbiosis played at Rambalkoshe a year ago and took around hundred people to a different dimension, filled with nothing but incredible and infinite energy.

Born and raised out of West Berlin Michel had only music and collecting records on his mind from an early age. Influenced by British ‚77 punk- rock and US punk from the late 80ies he soon realised musical boundaries were nothing for him. His equally large passion for hip-hop paved the way to first electronic productions. Big beat, drum ‚n‘ bass, acid techno, early spiral tribe stuff...His first fusion festival in early 2000 as well as many illegal open airs and parties in a Berlin filled with open spaces after the fall of the wall, made clear the path he would take. Up until then a party DJ with diverse genres, his passion for techno/house music steadily grew. Through own events with Bachstelzen, a collective of organisers that has greatly influenced Berlin‘s party scene with its events in elaborately themed off-locations, the course was set for frequent techno/house DJ gigs.
