Ambrose Field: Transmission Cycle (2014) live in Bucharest, feat. John Potter (tenor)

This is a piece specifically written for a 500 year old building which doesn't exist today - St Mary's Abbey, York. It had an 11 second reverb time! Architexture 2 exploits this unique space an integral part of the composition. Singers and reverb are amplified.

Quantaform III for Solo Flute, with acoustic resonance. Performed by Jos Zwaanenburg. In the Quantaform series cycle, the acoustic response is designed to work in tandem with the pitch material of the pieces. This movement uses delicate timbres (air sounds, pitch bends) to 'provoke' the added acoustic.
