leaves like feathers, silence now
Lips are sealed while things do happen 
busy days and ultraviolet rays, 
Somehow you're not really there. 
Yet, there is a day's music in the air,

Passersby are on their way to life itself, 
and you linger by a sidewalk, thinking, 
always thinking. Lips perusing silent words, 
and as the sky is brilliant blue, searing orange, 
rosy pink, and startling purple... midnight 
indigo,
your skin is bold, your heart is gold,
your bones shiver.

Un miroir brisé par l’oubli des vies.
Les roseaux chuchotent des contes anciens,
Que l’écho seul reprend dans le matin.
Sous la surface, des souvenirs s’enlacent,
Des rames fantômes glissent sans trace.
Le ciel ne s’y mire plus qu’à demi,
Fuyant l’azur terni d’un doux ennui.
Un trône d’eau sans royaume ni fête,
Où même le vent semble faire retraite.
Et l’onde, lassée de n’être qu’un décor,
Verse des perles que nul n’adore.
