Both originating from Basel Switzerland, experimental dance outlets Amenthia Recordings and A Walking Contradiction combine forces and present their first collaborative release. Both known for their dare-to-do-different approach and proudly presenting sounds that come from their inner circle of friends they compiled the Flash Crash / Hack Crash EP with exactly this mindset. From Agonis' heavy stepper to Konduku's whirlpool of low frequencies on the Amenthia side with Lemont continuing on this same low-end tripped-out tip to the slo-mo swamp sounds from Varuna representing A Walking Contradiction in typical fashion.

A Strange Wedding kicks off the useless seconds catalog with 3 original tracks carefully produced and arranged to showcase his signature sound design at the cutting edge of futuristic techno-tribalism and minimalistic hi-fi trance.

First, Wormhole Breaker takes us on a journey through space and time, escaping furious psy-storms. Aqua Sourcing dives deep into space infrastructures, where resonating oily pipes made from an unknown alloy blend with the echoes of rusty excavating machinery drilling in search of precious liquid. Finally, Pressure comes as a restless ascending trip at full speed, reaching the climax of this hallucinatory journey through laminated space-time.

Wormhole Breaker re-emerges in two alternate realities, reshaped by Nadia Struiwigh and Patrick Russell. Nadia’s version is a mutating DnB roller designed to survive a hostile solar system, while Patrick’s distinctive rhythmic explorations make us swirl as if we were lost between those realities.

We are glad to present the debut album from an artist within the Organic Signs family Solma One year ago, the French artist planted the seed of this sonic journey with his set at The Memoir by Hypnus Records. Now, that seed has fully blossomed, unveiling a collection of new creations. Eight tracks that define his sonic universe, where DnB, halftime, and tribe intertwine in an atmosphere of hypnotic textures and pulsating synths.
