NC4K, a dance music label based in Kyoto, have finally released their third "NC4K Collection", the series of their own popular compilation album.
Stones Taro, who releases remarkable tracks from labels in Europe and Japan in these years, runs the label with Lomax and Pee.J Anderson.

While the third compilation album possesses the respect towards House music, which is their core genre, it also contains plenty of UK bass music taste with jungle and breaks.

Starting with the managing members, well known producers such as Paperkraft, blackglass G, and producers from Kyoto, Tokyo, Yamagata and up to Armenia, each of the talented producers who goes through the scene are expressing their current vibes in the album."

Mhost Likely co-owner and Norwegian producer Gordon Joe debuts on Mhost Likely Green with a new single that includes remixes from Henrik Villard and Keecen.

Gordon Joe "seeks to collect the musical pollen from the lush ecosystem of Norway." He has a background as a studio producer and an ear for intricate sound design. He has worked with singer/songwriter sensation Aurora and has recorded for Eskimo Recordings. Inspired by a pool of influences, including ambient, electro and house, he crafts music with a rich subtlety and variety of moods that are all demonstrated on his debut single for Mhost Likely.

The inspiration to make ‘Luminous’ came one summer morning when the artist flipped through clips from old anime TV series, making him nostalgic for a worry-free childhood. He says, "Gordon Joe is a personal project all about communicating my inner emotions through music. With ‘Luminous’ as my first original release, I can confidently say that this represents me and what I wish to pursue."

The excellent 'Luminous' is a captivating record that taps into an indie-electronica sphere, filled with a beautiful blend of dreamy melodies that spiral up to the heavens. They bring heart-tugging emotions that take you on an endlessly uplifting journey.

Remixer Henrik Villard hails from Oslo and is a deep house phenomenon who fuses warm grooves, lo-fi samples and flowing piano lines on labels such as Moskalus, Tooman, Beatservice and more. His version is a hazy slice of house music that evokes a feeling of hopefulness with shimmering vocals harking back to a classic era of UKG. Lastly, Keecen hails from the edge of the Arctic Circle and is paving a new path for Tromsø-based artists. The Nordic funk star releases under various aliases on Full Pupp, Beatservice and Paper Recordings and takes us on a Flume-esque trip through subtle and downtempo dreamscapes.

"French imprint Community Center returns with its fourth release this March, entitled ‘66BEO’ and coming courtesy of the fledgling Nantes/Paris, France based producer and DJ, MLF.

Since establishing itself in 2020 the Parisian Community Center imprint has unveiled an amalgamation of rave-tinged sounds and styles across its last three releases from Pasteur & Tsy, S3A and Mayflo. Here the label continues to bring raw, experimental electronic sounds with the debut EP of MLF, a blossoming artist merging influences of breakbeat, house, jazz, and electronica across this six-track EP.

Leading the release is ‘Intro (Best Kind)’, setting the tone with cinematic pads, bubbling synth sequences, broken drums, and high-pitched vocal lines. ‘Chianti’ follows, laying down choppy breaks, ethereal textures, Hammond organ licks, airy arps and bumpy bass grooves. ‘FM’ comes next, diving deeper via dreamy synth swells, 2-step drums, and elongated bass tones.

‘In The Mood For A Jazz Interlude’, as the name would suggest takes a hazy break from the dance floor via organic percussion, soft brass tones, warm piano lines, and walking bass grooves. ‘Yeah’ follows next and shifts focus back to the rave with bouncy piano licks, squelchy acid synths, pulsating subs and crunchy drums. ‘La Presa Di S’ then rounds out the release, employing classic rave piano hooks, entrancing synth stabs, shimmering vocal chants and dynamic drums throughout."
