A 4 channel recording decoded to 2 channel UHJ Stereo
The patch is live recorded nothing added in mix.. prominent modules are 4ms STS,SMR and DLD. Morphagene is of course there.. the approach with morhpagene was to first automatically record VERY short slices then switching between them while recording current audio into them as well.. used SMR as well as Verbos barkfilter to generate CV, Batumi is another CV source... Random Source Serge DSG is also used, and some S&h to control SMS pitch and Morphagene speed. Grains from both STS and Morphagne.. DLD used to loop stuff.. Koma Poltergeist for 4 channel panning..

In 2010 I composed a full length score for a stage production of Kurosawa's Throne of Blood directed by Ping Chong. I studied a handful of instruments from the traditional Japanese Gagaku orchestra: ryuteki, hichiriki, sho and shakuhachi in order to perform my own samples. In this exploration I made a sample reel for the MakeNoise Morphagene and sculpted that.

Used to a Guitar player that got into creative looping and moved on to modular synths and sound sculpting... now I am more of some sort of sound experimenter.
Main tool is Eurorack, but I use whatever toys that inspire..
My objective to music is to do something I find interesting and maybe good and to try to forge a personal and unique voice with my tools.. even if that is sort of impossible :-)
I also regard the road to that "voice" more important than the acutal goal.. i also invite you all to listen to me travling down that road..
So not all clips are meant to be "final products" they are more like a sound blogg of my development.. a develpment with unknown direction... as is all evolution
