Andrei Cucu is a multimedia/sound artist and sound designer from Berlin trying the boundaries between sound/image/text/space/nature. His work often approaches translations between these different languages, with a special focus on sound, trying the interstices, correlations, interactions. The endless possibilities of manipulating these languages are explored and expanded in sound pieces, audiovisual pieces and images. Andrei has studied literature, comparative studies and sound design, all of which are reflected in the multifaceted manifestations of his art. His works are deeply personal, reflecting small moments, deeply intimate experiences or transformations.

Performing with things that sound. A research by Janine Eisenächer and Steffi Weismann at "Errant Sound" – project space for sound art in Berlin

Nour Sokhon is a Lebanese artist, sound designer and filmmaker based in Beirut, Lebanon. Her creative explorations have been in the form of sound performances, installations and moving images. In 2014, she achieved an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from The American University in Dubai. In 2017, during her time at the Glasgow School of Art in the United Kingdom, she culminated a large scale Masters project; a documentary entitled “People on Sound”. In 2019, she received the Emerging Artist Prize at the Sursock Museum, for a moving image piece entitled "Revisiting: Hold Your Breath”.

Nour has exhibited her artwork in Dubai, London, Glasgow, Paris, and Beirut. She has also performed in Berlin, Beirut, Dubai, Paris and in different festivals such as the Al Quoz Arts Festival (Dubai, UAE) and the Other Worlds Festival (Blackpool, UK).

She is a member of three collectives: Tse Tse Fly Middle East (sound), Glitch Artists Collective (transdisciplinary) and Nightmares From Fabrik (transdisciplinary)

Composer-performer JOHNNY CHANG engages in extended explorations surrounding the relationships of sound/listening and the in-between areas of improvisation, composition and performance. Based in Berlin for more than 10 years, Chang relocated to his home country,  New Zealand in 2020.

Johnny is part of the Wandelweiser composers collective and in 2018, initiated a new framework for the presentation of creative research and performances, "Partitions & Resonances", aimed at encouraging collaborations between the varied disciplines of composition, musicology, historical research and performance.  Since early 2021, “Partitions & Resonances” has taken the form of a monthly listening series of compositions by Wandelweiser and related composers/artists/sound artists hosted by Audio Foundation, Auckland.

He currently collaborates with: Peter Ablinger, Jürg Frey, Antoine Beuger, Sam Dunscombe, Keir GoGwilt, Catherine Lamb, Klaus Lang, Mike Majkowski, Phill Niblock, Michael Pisaro, Derek Shirley, Germaine Sijstermans, Taku Sugimoto, Eric Wong.

As composer and performer, his articulated performances have been featured in: Staatsoper/ OperaLab//DAAD Mikromusik/MaerzMusik (Berlin), Donaueschingen Musiktage, Edition Festival (Stockholm), Sonic Acts Festival/Muziekgebouw (Amsterdam), Gaudeamus (Utrecht), Cafe OTO (London), Riverrun Festival (Albi), Q-O2 workspace (Brussels), Wandelweiser Klangraum (Düsseldorf), Minimal Jukebox (Los Angeles Philharmonic), Audio Foundation/Pyramid Club (NZ).
