"Machia & Velli" is the alias of electronic music producer Oliver Schmidt, who started his musical career in the 1990s as a founding member of influential German HipHop bands "Poets of Peeze" and "Fettes Brot" and since 2017 helps his "teenage love" Italo Disco to boost into the 21st Century producing Italo, Dark Wave, Indie Dance and Synthwave tracks.
His 8-track "Discorsi" album was released on 14th October 2022 on Bungalo Disco label.

The Shizzle is a weekly radio program on 99.9 BAY FM (Byron Bay) exploring a diverse range of music from the now, yesterday and tomorrow.  A show that touches on  psychedelia, techno, post punk, disco, house, leftfield electronic music, downbeat, world exotica & more. I have a very loose music policy - if I like it I play it.

I am a passionate dj and music fan who is happiest playing to an adventurous dance floor. Originally from Melbourne I now call the Byron Shire home. In Melbourne I presented various electronic music radio shows on 3PBS FM, was a founding member of the Global Eyes music/art project and a regular fixture on Melbourne’s underground dj scene spinning at intimate affairs through to clubs and larger festivals including Earthcore,  Rainbow Serpent & The Eclipse Festival.
