Tonights show includes a  mix from UK Musician/Producer LANOWA  who has laid down a fabulous disco inspired hour for us this evening as we see his “Cloud 9” EP released this week on the Citizens of Vice label touching on Soulful, Balearic and disco vibes.

Lanowa is a house/nu-Disco producer from Nottingham, UK. He has released 5 solo E.P.s under Citizens of Vice as well as various remixes, and has also produced tracks for Paper recordings, Bill Brewster and Damian Harris (Midfield General). Along with these two legends, he has also had DJ support from the likes of Sean Johnston, Horsemeat Disco, SlothBoogie, Joyce Muniz, Lars Behrenroth, Christian Homan and more

Yorkshire based Corinne White AKA "Rinny", is an eclectic selection of genres and is no stranger to dance floors at some of Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield finest nights. Over the years of being on the dance floor it's now Rinny’s time to be on the other side of the decks and utilise the many hours dancing to be able to share with clubbers her knowledge of music. Although she has an extensive collection of different genres of music, her love for the deeper, darker side of electronica is her favourite to play and you can hear this in this mix she has put together exclusively for us. 
You can catch Rinny playing for Sprechen - Manchester based Record Label, where she recently warmed up for Sean Johnson and also at her Residency at KIKU - Leeds having recently warmed up for Luke Una at Sheaf St.
John on warm up duties for the first hour.

QMLS March Show (2023)

This is part of a restored and remastered mix originally recorded one evening at The Sense Bar back in 2011. The Sense Bar was a lounge bar in downtown Oslo, known for its intimate atmosphere, superb cocktails and fantastic sound system (a Funktion-One setup if I remember correctly). I had the pleasure of playing at this cosy venue on several occasions during a particularly busy live schedule around 2010-2011. Sadly, The Sense Bar closed its doors in 2015. Hope you enjoy this trip down memory lane. JC

Mixtape From The Sense Bar 2011

The Shizzle is a weekly radio program on 99.9 BAY FM (Byron Bay) exploring a diverse range of music from the now, yesterday and tomorrow.  A show that touches on  psychedelia, techno, post punk, disco, house, leftfield electronic music, downbeat, world exotica & more. I have a very loose music policy - if I like it I play it.

I am a passionate dj and music fan who is happiest playing to an adventurous dance floor. Originally from Melbourne I now call the Byron Shire home. In Melbourne I presented various electronic music radio shows on 3PBS FM, was a founding member of the Global Eyes music/art project and a regular fixture on Melbourne’s underground dj scene spinning at intimate affairs through to clubs and larger festivals including Earthcore,  Rainbow Serpent & The Eclipse Festival. I love playing music to a smiling crowd from intimate gatherings through to larger dance floors.
