Collaborations

Some time ago John Baker (@ldchool) sent me this great backing track he created and asked me to play a lead break on it. After I did we recognized that this track strongly deserves vocals. So I sat down and searched for some words to get some lyrics together and thought of a melody to sing. Then asked my friend Marcus to come over and sing. We all are very satisfied with the result. Thanks to John's mixing skills and Marcus' voice it turned out quite nice.

Let The Good Times Roll

This is my first collab with Rob Johnson from @fire-jam-band. And it was mind blowing. Rob contacted me and mentioned that his voice with that "Southern Twang" would perfectly fit to the style of music I create. And I had the idea of a southern rock ballad. Now here's the result!
I'm so happy with what came out of this idea after Robs phenomenal input.

This is my first collab with Norbert Meyer, @https://soundcloud.com/nobsmeyer.
We met here on SC and he told me that he grew up in the city where I live. No more reasons needed for working together on a song.
I had the idea for this ballad and he played a marvelous bass part on this track.
Again, Moni singing. The ballad I promised her some time ago :-).
And, also for the very first time, Melli, another friend of mine, contributed the background vocals. 
Hope you like this ballad although it's not the usual Rock and Blues stuff.

I wrote and recorded this song back in 2015 when I didn't really have any equipment other than a DAW and a cell phone. The recording and mix wasn't great but a friend of mine and the first person I began talking to on Soundcloud (Rob from Fire Jam Band) loved the tune and did some vocals for it. I had the original version of this on my page for quite some time and removed it a good while back. I never had any intentions of re-mixing it, let alone, remaking the entire thing from scratch, but Rob had asked me that if I ever remade one of my songs let it be this one, so it took over a year of dragging my feet, because I wanted to be in the right frame of mind when I did it, but I finally have it completed. Everything is played almost as close to  the original as I could get and Andy Pfitzer helped me out by performing all the lead guitars in this because my original lead lines were awful. So a big thank you to Andy for all his help. 

This is also one of the last songs I used real guitar amplification for.

Old School Rock N Roll (2019) feat Andy Pfitzer on Lead Guitar

This is a complete remake of the Fire Jam Band + The Old School collaboration that pretty much started it all for me with collaborations.
The Old School's (John Baker) mastering work and Andy Pfitzer's lead guitar make this song about as good as it gets.  Crank this up really LOUD and prepare to be blown away by OLD SCHOOL ROCK N ROLL!
