Excision - Headbanga (FAT4L Flip)

This 16th century carol is a lullaby that was traditionally performed as part of the Coventry Mystery Plays. It was sung by the mothers of all boys aged two and under, who were doomed to genocide under King Herod’s cruel edict known as the Massacre of the Innocents, after the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.

As ever, I’m very grateful to be accompanied by @APi_ZZ’s haunting and captivating musical arrangement.
