The Fear Of Nothing To Do by Anteeter, premiered Friday, April 1st, 2022, on all music streaming platforms. The catchy, indie-pop number, follows Anteeter’s debut single: Slow Joe, which featured along with other film scoring done by Anteeter (Mike Kelley) on the indie, horror film: The Party’s Over.
Despite the notoriety of the release date, even the most casual of listeners would immediately recognize that the potential contagiousness of TFONTD’s ear-worm, is no joke. A style completely of its own, TFONTD’s energetic, synth-heavy instrumentation, smashes masterfully against Anteeter’s calm, sing-songy vocals, keeping any streamer’s repeat button, perpetually on. TFONTD was produced alongside Fleshed Out frontman, Chris Dunn (a long-time collaborator and a former high school classmate) amongst the release of his most recent project Fleshed Out II.
To celebrate the release, Anteeter, (successfully) attempted to break the world record for the most amount of times that a song has been played in a row, live, in front of a live audience. Though the previous record was daunting (Travis Scott and his song Goosebumps at a whopping 15 times in a row), Anteeter shattered the record, playing TFONTD 21 times in a row. Anteeter (Mike Kelley) was passionately accompanied by fellow artists Normal Writing (on bass, guitar, and trombone), Chris Dunn (on guitar and synthesizer), and Saint Romanov (on cello) in front of a small, yet ecstatic group of loyal fans and friends.

His debut single, I Am A Slow Joe, premiered February 4th, 2022, and was featured on the original motion picture, The Party’s Over (along with other scoring by Anteeter), which has over 54,000 followers on Tik Tok. Anteeter’s brilliant cacophony of blaring synths and raunchy vocals masterfully engages audiences with a sonic punch to the gut. A style completely of its own, the sarcastic, potent lyricism in combination with synth-heavy instrumentation, feels similar to artists like Radiohead, Yves Tumor, and M83.
