2022 PSYBIENT favorites part 3 PSYCHEDELIC CHILLOUT AMBIENT TRANCE PROGRESSIVE

Au commencement était le texte… enfin, les textes. Vingt-six vignettes composées par Eglantine durant le confinement du printemps 2020: chaque jour son texte, chaque texte sa lettre, l’ensemble formant un seul poème tautogramme reflétant l’humeur du jour et l’esprit du temps. Au terme de cette période d’isolement Eglantine nous a proposé de mettre son texte en musique. C’est ainsi que le projet 26 est né : « PlainMen ont mis en musique mes mots, qui ont mis en parole leurs sons, qui ont mis en vibration des lettres, qui ont fait résonner un nombre : 26. »

In the beginning was the text... or rather the texts. Twenty-six snapshots composed by Eglantine during the lockdown of spring 2020: one text for each day, one letter for each text, all together forming one tautogram poem reflecting the mood of the day and the spirit of the time. Once lockdown was over, Eglantine asked us to set her words to music. This is how project 26 was born: "PlainMen set my words to music, which set their sounds to speech, their sounds turned letters to vibration, which made a number resonate: 26"
