My creative internet helpers originated an alternative version of the "Roots" theme. I added organ and drums, processed some vocals and mixed the whole stuff.

Being musician and artist "since ages", the last two decades and all the developments in digital music broadened my interests and activities in doing music actively and passively. Not being shy of any genre (OK, leave off some Punk and Extreme Metal derivates) I engage in composing, arranging, mixing and collaborating. 

Oh, and I do all my artwork and designs as well. And as you may notice I regard AI as a friendly helper.

Some of our art is made on computers, some of it is made by hand. We are particularly interested in that gray area in between where you cant really tell. All of what we create here is one work laid out in segments, all connected. The Mystic Tape Deck universe is vast and explores all manner of adding meaning to our lives, while pondering meaninglessness.

I’m an independent artist/label composing cinematic electronic music since 2005 when Indigo World Productions was formed and registered through ASCAP. The music you will hear is a direct expression of inspirations and visualizations.

All recordings are performed using an 88-key weighted action synth workstation with Omnisphere 2.0 as the primary library source. The vocals I work with were carefully selected, were recorded by a professional soloist, and have been licensed for commercial use. 

From the start I’ve been inspired by film scores from composers such as Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, James Horner, and of course Vangelis. Each composition tells a story, as it were. The expressions are emotive with minimal engineering to preserve the feeling behind the music. 

Indigo World Productions is an independent publisher label cleared and registered through ASCAP'S DART Claim Publisher Members and Affiliated Foreign Societies in 2005.

In addition to music, David worked summers supervising crews on wildfires in Colorado. He volunteered as team leader for search & rescue, performing rescues and recoveries in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of southern Colorado. David served as wildland officer and trainer on multiple volunteer fire districts. His love for working in the outdoors and his desire to give back to the community were inspirations for these endeavors.

All the lyrics of my songs are written by me. I put them to music with A.I. and then I spin up the whole lot in the Magimix with samples and loops. I can't sing for toffee, so if you fall in love with a singer on one my tracks, it's likely to be a robot!  Just sayin'...😎

I am a solo recording artist who produces his own original music in Tweed Heads West, NSW, Australia.
 
My songs are released under the band name Retrospection. The joy and satisfaction I get from making music and sharing it, is my reward, although I do like to receive some recognition for my efforts!

Back in December 1963, after graduating from high school in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, I formed the rock band The Avengers in which I played lead guitar and sang backing vocals. We were semi-professional, playing any or all of the nights from Friday through to Sunday.

After two years I had to leave the band to take up a teaching career. Throughout my life I kept up (unpaid) entertainment as extra-curricular activities in the various schools in which I worked.

Unfortunately, I am no longer able to give live performances because of health problems.

Hi, I’m Volker – or "docredder"/"redder" when it comes to music. My journey into sound started early: as a child I sang Bach in a boys’ church choir, and that’s when I discovered how music can feel like both mathematics and magic at the same time. Later in life, I studied science and technology, but music has always stayed with me, as a way to process emotions, ideas, and imagination.
I’m not a virtuoso on any instrument, just a little guitar and some keyboard, but that never stopped me. For me, music is not about technical perfection, it’s about creating moods, telling small stories, and experimenting with sounds. That’s why I produce everything myself: the writing, the arrangements, the vocals, the mixing, and even the cover artwork. It’s a DIY approach, but it allows me to keep every piece authentic.
My influences are eclectic. I’ve always admired the timeless soundscapes of Pink Floyd and Genesis, the storytelling of Supertramp, the bold arrangements of Yes, Electric Light Orchestra and Muse, and the free spirit of Miles Davis. From progressive rock and indie pop to touches of jazz, funk, or ambient - I enjoy blending different textures until something new emerges.
Over the past years I’ve released a wide range of tracks, from introspective ballads like "Lament of the Last Generation" and "The End of Our Human Days" to playful experiments such as "Anna Sutter" or "Das Sein im Tinder-Schein". Some songs are melancholic, others ironic, some are inspired by literature, history, or science fiction. What connects them all is that they come straight from the heart - and from curiosity.
Every song is a little adventure for me. Sometimes it begins with a lyric, sometimes with a guitar loop, sometimes just with a feeling. I use simple tools like GarageBand, samples, my own voice and AI voices, but I try to arrange and transform them in ways that keep the listener surprised. My hope is that, even if just for a few minutes, the music opens a window into a different perspective.
I’m grateful for everyone who listens, shares, or gives feedback. Music for me is about connection - and every play, every comment, every message makes this journey worthwhile. I have been writing songs since1959 until the present. As a songwriter, I am more than happy with the wide range of songs I have written over the years. But my musical skills are quite limited and the early demos on Souncloud are of me singing  and accompanying myself on guitar or latterly ukulele. I can strum the strings well enough, but there my skills end.

Recently I discovered Suno AI and the results astounded me. I could finally produce demos of my songs to be proud of. I am currently going thru my catalogue of songs and producing AI assisted demos. I know many musicians turn away from AI but it has a place for me. There is no other way I could have obtained some 300 demos to this level. I do not and do not intend to look for any reward except the satisfaction that hearing my own songs gives me.

I am still writing and hope to have many more years of songs left in me, Enjoy if you can and I would love to hear your comments on the tracks, if the music moves you at all.
