With amazing releases on @lowless-music, @monument-podcast & @delsinrecords we are huge fans of their music and their approach to production and feel they are a strong fit for what Appian is all about : ) On show here are warm, heavily textured cerebral journeys densely packed with analogue atmosphere and feeling, with Dub at its core. We think they have created something very special indeed.

Their release, "Rao", dropped in 2024 under Monochrome Records, features atmospheric textures and dynamic rhythms that push the boundaries of genre. As a new gate opens, the rite continues; our reach into fourth worlds and mystic imagination deepens. The Golden Triangle marks the first chapter of a two-part solo album by Siamese Twins co-founder Sunju Hargun—the first solo release on his label. Two years in the making, this deeply personal work reflects his extensive experimentation, collaboration, and grounding within an ethereal, imaginary universe.

Rooted percussion forms the foundation of these tales, with haunting patterns that evoke visions of the past—visions untethered from conventional structures. The album incorporates instruments inspired by the rhythms and grooves of Phlaeng Luk Thung, while capturing the pulse of everyday life in the kingdom of Siam.

Recorded entirely in Bangkok at TMM Studios and staying true to the label's spirit of cross-cultural interaction, the album also features contributions from visiting artists. The Golden Triangle is a personal cartography reflecting Sunju's roots, exploring new routes and means of communication toward the cosmic unknowns surrounding him.

The first chapter of the story is joined by an explorer of the underwater world, GiGi FM, who lends her voice and spirit to "Lens of Time." This collaboration came together after their cosmic connection at Rural Festival in Japan. "Mekong" features another visitor, Konduku, dedicated to beat-science and rhythmic experimentation. A drum track that's heavy on hand percussion, evoking scenes of a temple prayer with its droning tinkles and chants. "Ruak" is transcendental—an exploration of syncretic ritualism, complete with acrobatic drum beats on the flipside.

Kicking off 2025 with a deep & psychedelic trip by @okouru. Based in Berlin and influenced by his years playing in Copenhagen’s vibrant scene, Okouru has mastered the art of blending hypnotic techno, psy-trance, 90’s trance, and progressive house into seamless, magnetic experiences. His sound invites all who tune in to lose themselves in the rhythm.
