i hated conflict and telling people how i feel
found this as an outlet soon it’s buying all my meals
this is a door to a new life
i picked the lock and opened it myself i’m gonna do right

remember it’s your story try to make it one that you write

got a long way to go but i will make it
i ain’t got a lot yet but i’ll still take it

they used to not believe
