Welcome back to the black hole of short time thrills! It's been a year since OTEO's debut single „You’re Lost“ had been released. So far nothing has changed... The globe is still spinning fast and nobody cares for a little real talk. Right about time for some experimental electronic touch by the duo "North Collective". Their remix spotlights „You’re Lost's" dark side. But fear you shall not, OTEO deliver a warming counterpart as well: long-time collaborator an multi-instrumentalist Tender Games stages his soulful vibes in a bouncy reggae remix.

'This Time’ is the lead single from the upcoming BirdyHop EP, ‘The Well’ - due April 2019. The song began life as a simple string motif after watching an inspired performance by Nitin Sawhney at the Globe Theatre. The melody quickly began to develop into something completely different, after layers of guitar and drum patterns were added. The mood of the emerging song dictated the vocals, which were written as a meditation on the struggles and heroism of the ordinary person.


’The Well’ is the result of an 18 month period of creative collaboration, reflection and discovery. The musical arrangements are as diverse as the lyrical themes, including classical orchestration, drum & bass patterns, glam rock guitar, and retaining the brothers' distinctive harmony vocals. Despite its eclectic approach the Well retains an honest and familiar emotional thread.

Argonaut & Wasp was created with the goal of combining the vulnerability of a rock show with the energy of a house club. Formed in the dorms of the University of Vermont in 2013 the band started as a DJ / live show, playing packed basement parties to sold out festivals. In 2015, they packed their gear and moved to Brooklyn where they built a studio in Crown Heights. After releasing numerous singles and EP's independently, they signed with +1 Records and are released their debut album, STARLIGHT 99 on April 30 2021.
